Why not make your (overpriced) fuel work for you? If you appreciate your internal combustion engine, and want to help avoid costly repairs or maintenance to your fuel injector system, you can!To be honest the quality of fuel is often questionable (I’m looking right at you, ethanol). Modern fuel injection systems are squeezed for every iota of fuel economy and performance. It makes sense to be a little proactive with the preventative maintenance, it’s just good sense.Adding Jectron to your fuel is a smart, and economical measure that you can take, to keep your injection system running as designed.It won’t damage your emissions components, it won’t harm your fuel systems more delicate parts (O-rings, plastic tubing, filters, etc.).There are plenty of great options out there, such as Chevron’s Techron, and a handful of other reputable products. I used to be a very strong advocate of Techron (it’s still my backup choice). However, after witnessing Jectron solve a battery of problems on a variety of vehicles, I’m a convert.

I use Jectron every 3 months in all of my vehicles. It costs less than BG 44K with the same result.All US-market fuels contain ethanol and other additives to dilute the actual petroleum content and reduce our dependence on foreign oil (debatable fact). These additives act as a catalyst for carbon and other deposits to accumulate in the fuel system - namely the fuel injectors, fuel filter and possibly the fuel pump. This causes a gradual, but steady decline in fuel delivery efficiency and engine performance. Most people don't really notice that their vehicles become sluggish and their MPG is declining until the fuel filters, fuel pumps or injectors fail. Keeping this system clean is paramount to saving fuel, money and preventing costly repairs down the road. Cheap fuel injector cleaners contain mostly alcohol or some other ethanol-based solvent which only provides a temporary improvement and can actually do more harm in the long run. Liqui-Moly (and BG) are the only cleaners I trust to actually do the job properly vs offering a temporary placebo effect. Liqui-Moly happens to cost less than BG and offers the same results. I will continue using Liqui-Moly products in my vehicles from now on.

It does quite lifters a little, not as much as I would like for my 4 cyclinder turbo engine

Beware filler neck issue with modern F150 CAPLESS SYSTEM. YOU MUST USE THE LONG NECK FUNNEL NOT THE SUPPLIED SPOUT! IT WILL BACK UP AND SPILL ALL OVER.

I would highly recommend this product. I have just recently become a Liqui Moly product user and it’s amazing. The oil and also the additives are outstanding.

I bought gasoline from a Terrible Herbst Chevron Station in Las Vegas during CES 2023 and shortly afterward was getting CELs in my Mk-VI Golf R.I continued to get CELs showing intermittent fuel delivery in multiple cylinders until I put a can of Liqui Moly Jectron Gasoline Fuel Injection Cleaner in my tank.One can did the trick, but just to make sure, I added another can with my next tankful of gasoline (from a Costco Station with clean fuel).
