Nite Ize FlipOut - Folding Handle and Stand for Smartphones, Stainless Steel

I do like this phone holder. I LOVE nite ize products! They are durable and well made and executed thoughtfully, which is important to me. The key to this is be sure to size it up to where it is comfortable for you to hold it for long duration or it could end up disappointing you. Being that it is metal and not plastic, it will NOT break on you, BUT it is not as cozy as plastic on fingers for long periods of time. The adhesion pad has held up great since placing it which is nice (not having to epoxy or superglue it on). It's astetically pleasing as well; unique in itself. And it will convert into a stand for your phone as well.

Strong stick, even on my case that is not flat (has kind of a diamond design with depressions). I love how flat it folds. Is it the most comfortable, nope, but you can see that from the product photos. I don't use it much so not a big deal for me. If you use it all day perhaps you wouldn't like this one.

This is my second one, my first one lasted for years!! I even took it off another phone and stuck it onto another one with same sticky stuff that was on it. Amazing!! Only had to replace it, b/c I dropped my phone so many times on the metal piece that it finally broke (that was all me, not the item itself). Highly recommend.

I waited 8 days for the product to arrive. I’ve been looking and looking for a product like this, but I am disappointed in the way it feels between my fingers. Very rough and hard. Nothing at all I expected. :(

had another flipout lasted for years in fact still on my old cell. I got another for new cell. had a problem...top fell off. contacted customer service. sent my receipt and they replaced right away. great service great product. thanks for being a stand up company nite ize !!!!

This kickstand is the most incredible piece of micro-machining I have seen in a long time! It is very hard to capture with phone pics but this SOLID stainless steel gem relies on an ingeniously machined detent that locks the stand of any of its 4 positions: “Flat”-(folded against phone); “Open 45°“; “Open 90°”; and “Popout/Retainer” positions... It utilizes an integrated “S-shaped” spring that is the actual connecting link between the two “circles”. It has a character similar to a pocket knife “frame lock” that is elegant and incredibly simple! I am blown away by how solidly built this is and it totally dominates ring style holders with its multiple positions! Yet like them it is superior to popout style stands- it is less than half the height of most of them! I don’t currently use a wireless charger but if this was an issue I would simply mount this stand a bit lower to allow contact with the wireless charger... (that is actually how it is shown positioned on the advertising video.) Definitely worth a try! All in All AMAZING!!!

Removed this from my phone. It was hard to lift the grip up, and didn’t open in a smooth movement, so I’d have to literally turn the phone over to open it. As others have mentioned, it has sharp edges so hurts having it between your fingers. Very disappointed
