SOOOOOO comfortable (one small concern)
I have significant varicose veins and if I spend a lot of time on my feet, my ankles will be swollen at the end of the day. When that is the case, I often wear compression stockings to bed at night. These Nu Vein socks are SO very comfortable and far superior to other womens stockings that I have used before. The Nu Vein socks are not made like nylon stockings which are usually very hard to get on and easy to put your finger through. These socks are soft and sturdy but easy to put on and wear. The foot was a little long for me, but since I only wear them to bed and not in a shoe, that was not a problem. My legs are short and previous compression stockings have been too long causing them to cut and bind at the top (just under my knee) where they often roll over and double up and are very painful. These Nu Vein socks fit perfectly below my knee and laid flat all night. They are soft and so comfortable to wear. I felt like my legs were being massaged all night long. They were very effective at reducing the swelling and removing the fluid in my ankles. I am definitely buying more of these socks. The one small concern I have is that the Amazon inventory label on these socks says that they are "Women's Graduated Compression Socks" -- for women and I am a woman. However, the manufacturers packaging says that they are "Cotton Dress Socks for MEN". So I am not sure whose packaging to believe and I am not sure what size to buy. Then will I get another pair of what I received and like so much? I am definitely willing to try because these are great.

Hot, and they run small
The good news: these are not your grandmother's compression stockings. They have a pretty herringbone pattern and look just like ordinary knee high socks. But they are warmer than my other compression stockings - by now, I have a wide collection, in the hope of finding the perfect fit for year-round wear - and they run small. Be sure to order one size up if you are close to the limit on their chart when comparing your ankles and calves to their sizes. I recommend moisturizing your legs before donning the stockings, especially if you have sensitive or dry skin.

Seem lik they'll hold up well
Well not sure if it qualifies as a good or bad point for others but for me it's kinda both, they are rather warm. In most cases my feet are often freezing, have been since birth. For the most part I'm used to it and have become comfortable with them being so cold all the time. If they get warmed up half the time I begin to overheat feel sick and a little fog brained. With most compressions socks my feet often become colder almost to the point of painfully cold. During winter it is a real problem for me. These are decently warm in the fact that they actually warm my feet. Not to the point that they get hot or overheat but almost to a normal comfortable level. These are also a decent strength durable seem like they will last for quite a while. They dont cut into the back of my calves or knees. Also I can move my toes without pain, and no ingrown toenails from toes being squished together. They help with the swelling I get from damage to my ankles and feet awhile back. They work well and the way they should in my opinion and the warmth is a plus at least for the winter May change my mind come summer.

Wonderful for legs
I am going to say right up front, that this is my original review, but it will be copied and pasted. The reason is, I got quite a few pair of these, and my fingers, arthritic with an RA autoimmune style arthritis, are not up to typing so many identical reviews. That being said, these are GREAT socks!! Very comfortable, in the thicker or thinner type material both. I wore them (navy thinner weight pair) for a Shinedown concert. Hours sitting in one place on the hardest wood slat seats imaginable. I have the beginning of varicose veins (deeply disturbing - I. AM. OLD. ) and sitting makes my legs ache, although standing does it too. Damned if you do, damned if you don’t.These socks fit snugly and smoothly, but not uncomfortably tight. They really felt good, not cutting into leg at top and the foot was smooth and didn’t bunch or twist. The lighter weight ones are light enough to wear with flats or other snug type shoes, and look good. Not like sweat socks stuffed into ballet flats type of ugly lol. After all those hours, my hips were stiff, my bony ass was screaming, but my legs were good! They weren’t achy or heavy feeling, or feel like the sitting made my legs hurt.

Fit well
I have small feet and big calves, so was a little worried about the fit of these; however, their sizing guide was quite accurate, and the socks fit very well. They are compression socks, so I expected them to be difficult to put on, and they do need a little effort, but, if they were as loose as regular socks, they wouldn't work as they're supposed to. Overall, the fabric is nice and looks dressy, and I wouldn't be embarrassed to walk through security in my sock feet in these. As I said, I do have fat calves, so the fabric is stretched, probably to the limit, and I do see a spot, where the fabric looks like a careless tug could create a tear. So far, so good, though. If they do rip, I'll update this review.
