Great Little Product!
This little glue gun works great! It is small and compact, charges well, and I like how light it is. I wish it would sit in it's holder a little better, but for the money, it is great! I have used it several times and it works really well.

Best design
Best glue gun in a long line of glue guns. The tip is thin and accurate. Releasing the gun from its base requires two hands but the cord free-ness makes it worth it. The drip pad is brilliant.

Glue gun sticks in holder
The gun part gets stuck in the holder. I have owned many of these. Small and big. This year bought 2 small and full size. Both stuck to holder. Need 2 hands to remove. The older ones never had an issue

Nice little unit
Heats up quickly, love that there is no cord to get in the way. The base has a drip pad which is a plus.

High End Gluing? Yes Please!
If you are in need for a new glue gun for crafting or maybe home repairs or maybe you just feel like gluing your significant others shoelaces together, then this is the gun for you.Simply plug the base in and it charges the glue gun. You lift the gun with no cord to get in the way and that makes it very easy to use and way more comfortable than traditional blue guns when using for extended periods of time. The gun has heat settings that allows you to get the perfect heat level for your project. The build quality seems to be excellent even though it is plastic. It still seems sturdy and feels good in the hand. The battery never needs charging because as you set it down between use it charges itself. I don't get a lot of tip leakage and the glue sticks for this gun are a great size and easy to handle. This is a great glue gun for the money and easily one of the best values on the market.

Exactly what I needed. Works great. No issues so far
Works great. Love that you can detach it and no cord but you do have to put it back on to keep it hot

Great for gift wrapping, though base is a little snug
For years - about a decade now - I've been using a large, industrial glue gun to wrap my gifts. That gets hot, and puts out plenty of glue, but the nozzle is wide, the gun is unwieldy, and the glue sticks pretty long, so I finally decided to get something a little more appropriate for the task. I was attracted to the CL-195F because of its corded/cordless design and its fine tip.Basically, it's about perfect for what I'm doing. It dispenses a much more reasonable quantity of glue, the narrow tip lets me add just enough in just the right places to make everything secure, and there's no loss in the quality of adhesion due to it being capable of working with high-temperature sticks. I'm sure it will be useful for many other things than wrapping gifts.I have three complaints:First, as others have said it fixes a little too tightly into its base, so that - without screwing the base down or adhering a weight to the bottom - I need two hands to remove the gun from it. If I use one hand, the base comes away with the gun. A heavier base, or slightly looser connection, would avoid this. I tried applying some silicon-based lubricant, but this only helped a very little. I tried disassembling the base and slightly widening the metal contact sleeves - this worked perfectly, but I'm not sure how comfortable I am with that being anything but snug, I don't want arcing in something that may remain on for as much as 30m unattended, so I tightened them again. I'll think about an alternate solution (e.g. magnetic contacts), but most likely I'll just velcro the base to a spare steel plate I have hanging around.Second, the wire position on the base is an unusual choice - it should face 180 degrees from its current location, towards the "tray" not towards the back, as most outlets will be positioned on the far side of the workspace, with the project being on the near side. As a half-solution, I'm going to try a right-angle plug (like ASIN B0C3H548SY); note, that cable isn't polarized and will require modification before connecting it up, but I'll confirm the polarity before doing so.Third, it is also the case that I think it may dispense a too little glue per trigger squeeze, but I suspect that is just a matter of technique, adjusting from my previous 60w construction gun. I would have purchased the larger model, but it didn't come with the fine tip. Unlike some other use cases, when wrapping gifts I only have the gun off its base for maybe 30s, so cooldown time isn't a problem for me.A word of warning - for some reason Amazon pairs this glue gun with a package of 1/2" glue sticks, not the 1/4" sticks that are compatible with it. At least, that is how it was when I bought it. Make sure you are getting the right sticks with the gun.If you are using this as a corded glue gun, it's a four-star unit, no doubt. If you are using it as a cordless unit, it needs a second revision. Still, I would generally recommend for most detail and wrapping uses.
