OxGord Pet Carrier Soft Sided Cat / Dog Comfort "FAA Airline Approved" Travel Tote Bag - 2015 Newly Designed, Small, Shamrock Green

This arrived in a very timely manner. It's well constructed and allowed for my wee one to see all 'round with ease. I had a spot of trouble unzipping the zippers, but I think that they are good quality, they were just a bit out of "alignment" since they were all folded up for transport. This case has two handles: a sturdy looking adjustable, and detachable shoulder strap with a nice little padded cushion, and the sewn on straps that meet over the top that also have a padded handle that velcros. The sewn on handles do not go under the case, but are sewn into the structural seams at the bottom. On one of the short straps there is a luggage tag, so you can put your info on the carrier, in case your pet gets misplaced. (God forbid!)The case has 3 sections that unzip. There is a full one on the end to put the animal in, there is a half one on the other end so they can poke their heads out, and there is a little one on the side that you can just stick your hand through. There is no top opening. The full zipper and the half zipper both have a little buckle/clasp/clip (IDK) to secure the zippers from being opened by inquisitive paws. Just below the petting opening, there is a hand-depth pocket that has a 2 in centered pice of velcro at the top. On the half zipper side there is a slightly larger mesh pocket topped with elastic to keep the contents in. All around the case is a thin strip of grey reflective material. It just looks grey in the picture.The little bed should stay put well. It has velcro to secure it on the underside in the shape of a capital I. The bed comes with a hard insert that goes in a pocket on the underside to make the bottom sturdy. The fleece material on the bed is not too fluffy, but it's nice, and it looks machine washable. The two large sides of the case feel lightly insulated, or at least cushioned.As far as color, I'm very happy with the green. It's bright, without being overly so. There is a slightly strong chemical off-gassing. I hope that goes away quickly. It gives me a bit of a headache and made my dog sneeze. Overall, I really like this case. I just happen to have gotten the wrong size for my doggie. She's an 8lb mini dachshund, and though the height is perfect for her, the length falls just too short. She's a bit longer than the case itself! Once I receive the Large version of this case, I'll make an update.UPDATE: 01/14/2016I am so happy with this case! This seller is very prompt and professional, WOW! Seriously, my replacement came in 2 days.Okay, as far as the product itself, here are the differences. The velcro on the bottom of the bed is two parallel lines, not a capital I shape and the hard insert is covered instead of bare. I am a bit disappointed with the shoulder strap for the large, it looks as though it was made for the small. It's too short, and the shoulder pad is barely there. I'll post comparison pictures. The zippers on the L work a bit better than those on the M, perhaps because they didn't get as cramped up. And oddly enough, the L case doesn't smell as strongly as the M size, but maybe I'm just used to that off-gassing smell now. I have been ordering a bunch of stuff lately, ha ha! Anyway, I hope this review helps you out!----> As you can see in the pictures below, the two straps are very different. That on the left in the side-by-side is the M case strap and that on the left is the L case strap. In the next picture the one on top is the M case strap. It's about 4-6 in longer than the L shoulder strap at full extension. At first I was upset about that but I suppose that you wouldn't want to carry the weight further from your body, in a way similar to how you are supposed to have a backpack nice and close to your back instead of low so your body doesn't have to overcompensate for the shifting weight. Still I would've expected the same kind of padding at least, so it doesn't cut into your shoulder, a larger creature is more likely to be heavier after all. Another difference between the two is that the M strap comes with hooks that swivel fully, but the hooks on the L strap are mainly stationary. In the picture the one on the right is the M strap, you can see how it's laying flat that it's the swiveling one.

This would be great for a kitten. The medium size bag is not really big enough for a full size cat. I hope my cat won’t be mad at me that he has to stay in here for a two-hour flight!

I paid full price for this. I got this because I have a 2 month old premature puppy that was born blind so I have had to buy a playpen enclosure and this for traveling or if we just need to take him along on a errand so he isn't alone. I got the small but regret it, he is a premature puppy and his head almost bumps the top, he barely has room to turn around. I really like the remove able soft cotton pad inside, it has Velcro that hold a it in place, you can remove the bottom to collapse the whole bag for storage and the cotton pad removes easily to allow washing. Front mesh door zips open all the way around and folds down all the way, the back side has a mesh window that zips open all the way around but only half way down creating a window, the side has a mesh window on one,side and another on the side that zips open it is barely big enough when open to put a treat thru with your hand. It has a handle on top that Velcro closed and a adjustable strap. I wrap a pew pad around the bottom to keep mine from messing inside it. Picture is a bit deceiving, I would give this product 5 stars if the picture hadn't made me think that a small size would be plenty but enough for my teeny tiny chiuhauha puppy. As far as the product itself it is made of good quality.

My cat fits perfectly. doesn’t feel cheap also has little straps on the back that you can use to attach the carrier to a seat belt so it’s not sliding around on the seats. She was scratching at it pretty hard too because she doesn’t like car rides but it held up to the abuse. Just if you have a bigger cat it probably wont work for you

I bought the medium size for one of my cats as a cheaper alternative to the  Bergan Comfort Carrier Soft-Sided Pet Carrier, Large, Black , which I have for my other cat. I expected this to be the same size, but that's my fault for not double checking the measurements (the large one is the same size as the Bergan large - oops!). It's a good bit smaller, and my female cat (just under 8 pounds) is almost too big for it. It also isn't as sturdy as the Bergan carrier, but it is well made and held up to Piper's escape attempts. I prefer the seatbelt attachments on this one because they are plastic buckles rather than velcro straps. They feel much more secure. Overall, I really like this carrier.

This pet carrier is awesome! I love it! I bought it to take my cat to go get spayed. The removable pad is very soft with faux lambs wool affixed to a stiff bottom that is perfect for providing sturdyness to the convenient collapsible carrier while also providing a comfortable place for my little cat to rest on the ride home from the vet.

Please be aware, this is for a SMALL (very small!) dog or cat. Our puppy was just 6 lbs when we first put her in this soft sided carrier, but by the time she reached 10 lbs, she no longer fit. More geared towards a "teacup" size dog or a medium size cat. But this is a great product!! It is very well constructed and, despite being soft-sided, very sturdy. Once you put the floor cushion it, the sides stand up perfectly. With a zipper door, it is easy to get pet in and out. And there is a two-way zipper, so you can lower the zipper enough to allow the pet to stick their head out. Overall, an excellent product - just make sure your pet will fit.

I haven't tried to shove a cat in this yet, and I'm not really looking forward to it. It is quite small, as well as soft, and I expect it will take two people, one to hold the bag, and one to insert the cat. However, it seems sturdy enough, and the price is great.
