OGIODome Duffel Bag (Carry-On, Gym Bag, Large Compartment)

I'm using this as a bag for my gym workouts, and it is quite serviceable. It's a lot bigger than you would think -- it's small enough to fit inside of a small or mid-sized gym locker, but you can put a change of gym clothes along with shower stuff (towel, shower shoes, minor toiletries) in the main compartment quite easily. The side compartment is only good for smaller things (an iPod, lock, gloves, wallet, keys, etc.). And I haven't had it very long, but it feels very sturdy with a strong zipper...and I can't imagine having to replace it anytime soon.It is basic, so don't expect it to have features like multiple compartments or a water-resistant compartment to carry your wet towel separate from your clothes. But if you're looking for an inexpensive bag for your gym stuff that you won't have to replace in a month or two, go for it.

Very sturdy bag that holds everything I could need at work or the gym.When the bag is very heavy I have had to use pliers to clamp down on the clips because they can open up too wide.Wish there was a pocket or two inside too.

I needed a smaller gym bag that weighed less than the monstrosity I have been carrying around for years. This fits my aerobics clothes and shoes (have to put in a plastic bag since there is no other pocket besides the very small front and I HATE shoe soles touching....well basically anything - ewwww) and a small amount of toiletries (travel stuff for shower). It does have a small front pocket that is touted as a place to store electronics (ipod for example) w/ a hole for earbuds cord to run out of. Me, I use it for my padlock. I miss having a separate compartment for my shoes and/or wet things if I swim, but I'm so pleased w/ the amount of items I can fit and the fact it is MUCH more lightweight than my previous bag that I am more than willing to compromise on pockets and I just keep 2 plastic bags in there - problem solved. Very happy w/ this purchase :)

Lightweight, seems well made, although only a single compartment in main storage area (there is an additional small exterior iPod compartment). Bottom is not at all rigid, so I'm adding a 1/8 inch plywood floorboard. Detachable shoulder strap. Sides collapse easily when bag less than full. Not terribly stout so would not try to carry your bowling ball. I'm using it for storage/transport of various electronics (GPS, radio head unit, radar locator) and personal stuff (cell phone, diabetic supplies, wallet) when exiting Miata. Dunno how useful it would be as a gym bag as no separate compartment for wet/sweaty stuff, and not very big, but gonna work fine for my intended purpose. Ogio logo pretty garish, but not as bad as in pictures. Suspect it"s worse on the black one.One month later and I've become addicted. Have purchased three more (red, black, and navy) for gadget storage for various cars. The navy is darker than pix, the black not as garish as expected with the silver Ogio logo. Plywood bottoms and custom sew-on patches added for each, so very stylish. Check suppliers (Amazon, eBay, manufacturer) as prices vary significantly, and depend on color.

I bought this for my son and it's been great. Perfect size, very durable and the cost was reasonable. Shipping was quick. It's not a huge size but it's perfect for a small bag, a 1-2 day trip - at least for a male! A female might need a bigger bag! ;-)

I bought this bag because it was the same outside dimensions of a very cheap gym bag that I had been using. The construction of this bag is second to none and will last a lifetime. the problem is that there is no storage outside of the big area and one very small zippered pouch on the side. I am able to keep all of my gym clothes, shoes, towel in the big area, but my old bag had a side pouch to keep my lock, headphones, deodorant, etc. I am not ably to fit those things in the small side pocket. I am very surprised because I have an Ogio golf bag and they are very creative in finding new ways to create space. I would not buy this bag again, unfortunately it is built so well that it will probably outlive me.

This bag is just a sack with a zipper. It has one small outside pocket but none inside. It has no structure. If you are looking for a nylon bag-sack with a zipper it will be fine but don't get too excited about it. I will give it away soon and buy something else that has some rigidity and compartments. I don't mind if it is 8 oz heavier.

I purchased this bag to replace one that the zipper gave out on after many, many years of use. It was a royal blue color and the Ogio Half Dome of the same capacity. I like this one, but the other one was better for my needs. The one it replaced was about an inch longer and a half an inch wider with a lower dome to make up the difference. It is a great bag, but the old one's dimensions worked a little better for me. I have to work a little harder to get everything set before I go out each morning. Still, it is the right size. I do not want a bigger bag.
