Five stars for now as I Just received it. It is a small car horn witch is good. I have not been able to test the sensitivity of the alarm as yet. I have a sound meter and it does test to 126 db at about 6 inches from the horn and 112 at about 6 feet away. The fact that it is a car horn lets me know that the sound will be heard and recognized as a horn. Nobody is going to hear this and think, what is that? I will test more when the weather warms up a bit and I can test it while riding.August 2022. I have had this for a year now and still give it a Five Star. It takes a long time to charge but the charge lasts for about a month or so unless I were to constantly turn the alarm on and off or forget to turn it off. It is loud and I mostly use it when I come up on people that are in the middle of the trail wearing ear buds and refuse to let me know that they hear me calling out to them. They wake up and realize that they are not the only ones on the trail and turn around and some times give me a dirty look. That's OK by me as their safety is as important as mine is☺.

This horn offers safety in the streets and theft prevention all at once.It is loud and you can hold the horn just like a car in times of need or danger. The key fob is also very useful when leaving your bike unattended (I strongly to advise using another locking mechanism such as a chain or a bike lock alongside it) as you can "lock" your bike. Upon being locked, it will react to any movement and give initial warning sounds and with additional movement it will cause the alarm to go off.It is a great accessory for bike or an ebike (if you ride with cars and feel a need of a horn or an alarm) and I would recommend it to anyone seeking a horn/alarm/all of the above!

I have bought 3 of these from your amazon site. The first one I bought I loved it so much I ordered one for my wife's bike also. After the second ride together on our bikes the horn on my bike has not worked again. even after a full charge. I ride my bike more often so I took the new one from her bike and put on my bike. I then orderd a new horn for her bike. When it arrived I charged it fully. Then used the key fob to test. It worked fine. Few days later went to install on her bike and it does not work now. Are they truly defective or am I doing something wrong. I attempted to return but amazon says it is a non returnable item. I am not happy and afraid to order another.

The horn is home for my ebike. With it I can beep at people on the sidewalks with ease and on the street it's even better to alert motorists. Wish the installation could've been better especially since you have to unscrew the horn to charge it once the battery is low but worth it. Get this horn!

The instructions said "three red lights" for feed back of alarm on/off; but I couldn't figure out where the red lights were blinking for weeks. I finally found the red lights on the local controller, attached to a wire on the bike. The controller to honk the horn also has red lights in it..To be fair, even the bike repair professional couldn't find the red lights.

I bought this horn alarm last year and just now got to mount it on my e bike. Worked for 1 day and poof! Doesn’t work anymore except when plugged in and even then it sometimes just lets out a meager squeal. It’s a great idea if it really worked for more that 1 day. Maybe I waited too long to mount it and it just expired. WTF!

I must like it. This is the second one I bought for my second bike. Don't expect a locomotive horn. This works as advertised but if you don't take it off to charge then you will need a long usb cable.

Yes it’s as loud as a beetle horn sounds much like it.I thought of getting this after riding on main roads, no car had a chance hearing my little tiny-ting bell!And as an alarm you have a good chance of hearing it from inside a place.
