Great line and very sturdy. Does the job.

I do some fishing and new that some high strength braids that resists scrapes where available. I've used thinner braid for fishing and know these hold up well. But this time I was looking for something to repair my blinds with. The internal nylon strings they use is close to .75 mm and is easily frayed and broke several times over the years. So this time I ordered the 200lb braid which I'm hoping will last longer than factory strings. So far so good. :) Will use the rest as backer on some bottom jigging trolling reels, and save some for use on the other blinds in the house. :) The 8 strands makes this wind smooth without too much noise. good product.

It’s thin rope. But that’s what I was looking for. It cast fairly good as well and I couldn’t break it even when I wanted to.

Yanked a 2 lb bass up a dock 15 feet off the water with this the first time out. Lacks a smooth wax coating like many braids like Power Pro, Spiderwire, or 832, but it is also a fraction of the price of those. For the price, it does the job, but the casting distance is noticeably shorter. A solid 4 stars for the price point at the number of yards you get. But it looks great on my white on white rod/reel setup.

Gave it a 3 star only cause of the spool. Took it with my reel after getting it back from being serviced, and about 16-1700 yards in, the spool breaks and knicks against the spooler machine and ended up destroying the rest of it. Normally dont have issues with yall, this was the first. First time ive bought line on my own accy normally we buy the same size (2000m) spools for our rigs on a friends. Love the line, just that the spool was destroyed like that. Never seen that before.

This line performs quite similar in the real world to Power Pro whereas some internet braided lines have twice the diameter in which case you might just as well use dacron . In the case of this line 300 yds / 30 fit nicely on a Shimano Spheros 6000 and also on a shimano calcutta 400 and Abu 6500 so 30 # braid really does equal 12 # mono for this line .

This is great line - I use it to repair my rc paraglider's wing lines. works perfectly.
