GoveeWiFi Room Thermometer Hygrometer, Wireless Smart Indoor Temperature Humidity Sensor with Alert and Data Storage, for Baby Home Garage Greenhouse

This is a great little device. I have one in my mini greenhouse where I grow chilli plants which are quite sensitive to temperature. I've had to use a small fan heater recently due to cold nights and this unit is great for monitoring the heating/temperature drop cycles as the thermostat cuts in and out. Also great during the day as the sun warms the grow space. You can set alerts direct to your 'phone/email once a certain temperature is exceeded. Then you can act and open up the ventilation/shut off the heater, or whatever. As well as temperature and humidity you can monitor Vapour Pressure Deficit as well - as I understand it, a good measure of the amount of drying power the air has on your plants and how much moisture the air sucks out of them. You get graphs on the app showing the trends in temperature, humidity, dew point and VPD. Mine was still working well in 59C inside the greenhouse. I believe the spec says they're ok up to 60 Celsius. They do take a bit of time to update and load data to your 'phone over the web in practice; it's not quite real time, but good enough. The device is easy to set up and the app is better than most of the connected home apps around. You do need to set up a free account but as far as I can see it's pretty hassle free. Nice product - well packaged, good form factor and works well with a good app. Have already bought another.

Great product and works very well.Doesn't like any type of water or dampness. For fridge use or outdoors where water may intefere, put it in a plastic bag- (zip lock). Doesn't eat battery and is solid when connected to Internet. Bluetooth is excellent for instant updates. Accuracy is good.Would recommend. Their smaller version are not as good. Too many communication problems with the gateway. If your lucky you'll get a good set. But this is the better unit albeit a little expensive.

Bought one, then another one immediately to monitor the house temperature during cold snaps from overseas. Love them!Very easy to setup (enable Bluetooth and install the App) you can choose real-time readings over Bluetooth or setup periodic "to the cloud" readings via WiFi. That's also free. To be clear, you don't have to be on the same WiFi network to see those readings - we read them from Hong Kong and the Govees are in the UK.The Apps have a widget mode as the photo shows, so you don't even have to open it to see the temperature (and humidity). They come with high power batteries that claim to last a year, and their charge state is shown on the App so you know when it's time to replace them.Accuracy I can't discern as I don't have a "gold standard" thermometer to compare against but with the very high quality product and great app I'd be surprised if they hadn't taken care to make it fairly accurate too.Just note that you need Bluetooth to set the reading frequency as I said, meaning once one out of range you can't set this via the App. Ours are set to every hour.For the price, build quality and what they do these things are amazing. When I'm back in the UK next I'm going to buy a third one. Very pleased.

Used as a remote temperature monitor, small unit,easily setup and remote viewing app works fine even though you have to sign up to a free account. Only con was wifi range, needs to be fairly close to your router or access point for reliable comms.

Product is robust and sturdy. The size is small and easy to hang- as shown in the picture. You can see its battery life on the app. Easy to read with a smart device and easy to connect to a fan. Temperature is always correct and would 100% buy again.

Have lots of Govee products now and find them easy to use and well connected with their app.This is used as part of a home brewery setup to monitor fermentation chamber temperature remotely when I'm away from home.Very quick connection no matter where I am and accurate too. Easy to read in the app.Battery life has been excellent

I got two of these thermometers. Setting up was nice and easy, I already have several lights from Govee and just added them to my app.The cool thing is that if you know the temps are off you can "calibrate" these thermometers from within the app. There is Youtube video how to do this. Very easy, just press the + or - button on the side of the temp.I was a bit worried that constant Bluetooth connection will be required on top of having the WIFi turned on but that is not the case- I only have WiFi on on my phone and the temps are accurate.There is no display o the product so all statistics have to be checked on the phone but hey- it is what it is.I checked the temps accurateness against my old fashioned thermometer (one with liquid inside) and the WiFi thermometers eventually came very close to it- 0.7 degrees difference.Very happy with these 2. I might grab some more for the balcony and my parents in future.Thank you, Govee.
