Halo Headband Sweatband Race Visor

I sweat - a lot - and have a constant issue with droplets running into my eyes so typically wear a bandana just above my browline. But once the bandana is soaked, requires a replacement and the bandana prevents the wearing of a ball cap/visor for shielding sun. The Halo Sweatband visor solves both issues and has worked extremely well to channel sweat away from my eyes while blocking the sun. Not adjustable per se - an elastic strap is only adjustment you have though it has done well to secure the visor in place thus far. Unknown how long the elastic will last without becoming stretched but so far so good. Would definitely purchase again.

I'm a cyclist and was looking for a visor that would fit under my helmet and help keep the sun out of my eyes on early morning or late afternoon rides; this visor works great. Not only keeps the sun out of my eyes but also keeps the sweat from dripping down into the eyes. Have worn it with temps into the 90s and its only slightly warmer than not wearing it; but worth it to keep the sun at bay. The different sizes mean you get a better fit than the "one size fits all" which usually don't. Don't know about durability yet, but so far, its five stars.

I wear a 7.5 sized hat so I got the L-XL. It still felt too tight. I feel sorry for anyone who truly does have an oversized head.

Summary: this is a quality headband, and fixes problems that plagued previous versions of the product. It effectively blocks sun and keeps your head cool on long runs.More than two years ago I wrote a two-star review for this headband after the black dye ran badly after one wearing, staining the white areas. I subsequently reduced the rating to one star after repeated attempts to get a replacement headband were ignored by the company.Halo has redeemed itself and its product. Though I long ago discarded the defective product, Halo graciously replaced the haedband more than two years after my original purchase.My first question upon receiving new headband was whether the original defect with the dye had truly been fixed. I subjected the new headband to a severe test, saturating the entire top of the headband with water, and left it for hours. The new headband passed this test with flying colors: the photos above compare the old product with the new after being subjected to moisture.This headband excellently serves the needs of distance runners who may spend hours in bright sunshine. The underside of the bill is black, reducing glare and UV exposure, while the open top keeps your head cool. The elasticized band will fit many different head sizes comfortably, including large heads like mine. Halo's trademark sweat-channeling rubberized band lines the base of the headband, effectively keeping sweat from pouring into runners' eyes.The only negative I can come up with on this new headband is the overly obtrusive and too-large "HALO" lettering that is repeated across the back of the headband. Speaking as a consumer, I don't want to feel like a walking billboard, and speaking as a designer, the typography is clumsily sized - - it looks tacky and graceless. A conversation with a talented designer in Halo's organization will result in something that more subtly and effectively communicates Halo's brand message.

This is the perfect visor! It fits to a "T" and is comfortable as well. I wear it to play Pickleball and it absolutely stops the sweat from running into my eyes. I also have several of the Halo headbands (in different colors of course) but the brim adds that extra sun blocking. I would love to buy more in colors........ hot pink for one......... I can always wish, right? I absolutely recommend this visor if you have issues with sweat running into your eyes.

This really does what it says its going to do. Im a sweater, and this is great. I tend to do alot of walking around for my job out in the 100+ degree weather of El Paso TX and I no longer come inside our building sweating all down my face, my neck and shirt. I have owned this now for a couple of months and I rinse it with water everytime I finish using it and let it dry outside and it has yet to fade or have damage of anykind anywhere. I find myself using it at events where I know I will be sweating. I no longer carry a handkerchief or small towel. This visor takes your excess sweat that does not evaporate and pushes it to the sides toward the elastic band in the back and then it drips down. But that only happens when im playing sports or riding my bicycle. I am going to order another one for when I have to wear a helmet.

This visor does not absorb sweat and does not decrease amount of sweat dripping from forehead to face. Standard visor works better than this. Sweatband works best. I had hoped this would work similar to a sweatband but it does not. Do not recommend.

This was replacements for the same product I have been wearing in the hot summer months the last few years. If you sweat allot this visor is great! I use it for housework, walking the dogs in the summer months.
