Simple but fantastic for the price!
I have a wooden humidor that I like to keep on display and have stocked with my finer cigars. However I don't always want to smoke those or share them so I buy some bulk cigars or just a box of something which then I was storing in sealed tupperware to help keep them over time. Now I'm pleased to have this large jar which handled storing many of my other cigars and because it's just clear glass, I can see what I'm reaching in for, check the humidity, or find my moisture pack or stick when I need to change those out or refill them.I think it was a great touch they tossed in a boveda pack too! I can't say how this will work long term if you aren't keeping up on checking/maintaining but I feel the seal of the lid is pretty good and I usually do good at remembering to check and refill packs before the humidity drops.

Not Just Cigars
This great jar with an airtight lid can be used for many things, not just cigars. It will keep snacks and baked goods super fresh. It's big but not huge, packed to arrive unbroken. I have it filled with my bulk supply of coffee beans and the plastic lined lid keeps the air out. The big deal here is the lid, otherwise, it's just a nice glass jar. I like it.

Lids are defective.
Not airtight. The lids will pop right off. They don't have a normal thread that screws down tight.

Visually interesting way to keep your cigars, but not really functional
This is a easy way to store your cigars without needing the elaborate and most times very expensive wooden boxes but I found some basic functional issues with this storage jar. This only works well when the jar is mostly full, when you come down to the last few, it looks kinda sad because they kinda fall over and wont stand up nicely. I also have found that if you are keeping lots of different varieties in there, rummaging around the jar to look around is not the best for the cigars. That being said, it still does what it’s supposed to do but like every humidor, it does take some effort on your part to keep the humidity in the right range to prevent the cigars from drying out. For me, I think I will continue to use the conventional humidor chest since it takes better care of the cigars and its easier to pick through them without casing any damage.

Broken
Broken when received. Sticker on the box said to not open if it sounds shattered. Soooo I didn't open it. Sounds like this is a known problem.
