This printer is a game changer and a marvellous piece of kit. I have only had it less than 24 hours but am amazed at the quality of the print - particularly with photos. Sure it only prints in black and white but it does amazingly well. Of course the quality of the photo itself is important as that will affect the outcome of the print out, that goes without saying.The app is simple to use and gives prompts to help you with connecting to your printer and printing. It is very straightforward with no hoops to jump through. The app, however will only allow connection with one Bluetooth device at a time so if you're switching between tablet and phone you will need to disable Bluetooth on the device you are not using. Having to use a cable to connect to a laptop is a small price to pay when the printer is so handy.All-in-all I would highly recommend this printer - lightweight, portable and more than capable of any printing I would need it for.

I love how easy it is to use and battery life is wonderful it stays awake ready to go whenever you need and it’s so cheap cheaper then buying traditional ink cartridges which will be more expensive then this printer

I’m a big fan of Phomemo thermal printers, I have a label maker and a photo printer from them and can’t fault them. I use them in home organisation and arts and crafts.Due to my job, I often need to print an invoice or a standardised letter on the go. For reasons beyond the scope of this review, digital copies are not permitted. So I was keen to find a way to be able to print a page or two every so often without having to go back to the office and printing and then sending through the post. So for me this was a worthwhile purchase.Pros- Good size and comes with a velvet carry pouch, which is a nice touch. It’s a bit heavy but not to the point that it compromises on portability.- Print quality is decent for text and simple logos. I printed a test page and was actually quite impressed.- Prints very quickly.- As a thermal printer, it doesn’t require ink which is undoubtedly the most costly aspect of running a regular printer.- It connects seamlessly to my iPhone and my laptop. The iOS app is quite easy to use and it offers a lot of options and some fun graphics.Cons- Only prints in black and white.- It is quite fiddly to get the paper straight but you get the hang of it eventually. So far I have gotten the paper at an ever so slight angle a couple of times but the printer didn’t jam -the print was just slightly off.- Thermal paper is quite expensive.- You can only print on one side of the paper.Overall, I think that if you have a use for it, it is a great solution.Personally, I bought a bundle of 100 sheets of paper for around £20 and they will probably last me a year or two as I will use it sparingly. Without the need for ink, the running costs are on par with a regular, non-portable printer. The price of the printer itself is on the high side, but it is a quality product and one of the few offerings in the market right now.

Very easy to connect, working perfectly.

Absolutely made up with this printer, it so easy to use, prints brilliantly and is so neat and compact it sits on my desk happily. Plus very easy to carry around in its lovely bag. Compared to my old inkjet it doesn't make as much noise and the printing is quicker. Really, really delighted so simple to set up.

The printer is very well packaged and easy to open. As you can see from the pictures it even comes with a soft carry bag to keep out dirt & help to prevent scratches and a handy USB memory stick (loaded with drivers etc).I fully charged the printer before first use and it probably took about 20mins from a basic USB wall socket outlet.Downloading the app to your phone is simple and installing the Windows driver was straight forward. Connecting the supplied USB cable to your computer allows you to print from Word etc as you would any other printer.Performance is as you'd expect from a thermal printer, some may say it's noisy, but considering there are no ink or toner cartridges to replace - that's a good trade off in my opinion.Don't expect inkjet quality photos to print from any mono thermal printer - but to be honest this printer renders them pretty well and gives quite an 'arty greyscale' feel to them.Text and documents are clear and crisp.In combination with a mobile phone and an eInk tablet - this will enable me to fill in PDF forms / invoices, have them signed by the customer, save them then print them a copy from the mobile app, all within minutes!Also will be great for sketching out designs on the eInk tablet, printing them via the mobile app for the customer to keep.Very compact machine that takes up little room in the rucksack - now I can print anywhere!5x sheets of thermal paper are provided for your use and testing.I found a pack of 100x A4 sheets of thermal paper for under £10. Cost per sheet is more than standard paper, but again once you factor that no ink or toner is required AND the convenience factor - it's pretty good.I certainly wouldn't print off a whole manuscript, not only because of the the cost, but as each page is seperately fed into the printer it would take a long time!But that is not the purpose of this compact little marvel! Portability and convenience are the order of the day here, and it performs admirably! Well done Phomomo.

Bought it as desperately wanted to print something and wanted something compact too, so thought this would be ideal. When I got it, I tried to set it up following instructions but it did not work at all. There was suppose to be some lights but it didn’t even materialise. It was very disappointing as this has great reviews - I even search for it on YouTube as sometimes they have better instructions or someone made a clip to help others but to no avail. It’s supposed to be very simple set up and I am savvy enough to do so. I had to return it and will never consider this brand ever again as it was waste of my time/effort. I even bought thermal paper to use with it and had to return that unopened

The setup is easy , the quality of the print is good. I believe it was worth the money and connecting it is so simple all u do is connect Bluetooth and pick ur image u want to place and print it's that easy !

Es práctico y sencillo, te saca de problemas cuando necesitas imprimir un archivo de imprevisto. La imagen es clara y precisa.El problema es la aplicación que usa, aunque es sencilla de usar, hoy detectó un problema de archivo troyano tipo que puede causar problemas y robo de información. No se si se puede usar otro tipo de aplicación para esta impresora, se tuvo que desinstalar la aplicación hasta que no sepa y no sea seguro no puedo usar la por el momento.

The media could not be loaded. This is not a printer for every day printing needs - this thermal printer was created for a user (most likely a business traveler) that doesn't always have access to a printer when they need it.With that being said, the printer was super easy to set up and use. The printer came pre-charged, so I simply took it out of the box, scanned the QR code on the top for printer setup, installed the Phomemo app, and a few minutes later I was printing from my phone with ease. It really was simple as it works seamlessly with a Bluetooth connection.The printer requires thermal paper, which you have to order separately. It comes with several sheets to test out, however, I recommend ordering thermal paper at the time you order the printer. If you're not looking for picture perfect printing, this printer will serve the purpose.Like I said earlier, thermal printing is not for every day use, but this printer certainly serves its purpose for on demand situations. It's light, easy to connect, quick, and produces good quality text and images.

Its easy to use and useful. You can take it with you anywhere and doesn't need any toner.
