Solid Drum Shield and works as expected.
Ordered the 6-panel version with upper baffles. We have a typical kit, so this was just the right size. I would recommend this many as 4 or 5 may not surround the toms and cymbals enough to make a difference. Everything arrived in great shape as expected but this is a heavy package. Be careful moving this around with a partner. Plexiglass is solid with some flexibility, took care not to bend excessively though to be sure it remains intact. Setup is simple to do, recommend at least 2 people to stabilize things while doing so. Tried it without the upper baffles at first but it was noticeably better once added to reduce the Drum decibels in our studio and allowed us to all having a better experience rehearsing.

As advertised and Easy Assembly
Easiest way to assemble is standing on its side while you straddle it. Then once you hammer (didn’t have a rubber mallet so I wrapped my hammer in duct tape) the first hinge on, stand the next panel on its side right next to the first one and bend the hinge over to the new panel and hammer the other side of the hinge on. Repeat with each panel and make sure the hinge is always folding away from the stack. I needed no help and completed this is 30 min. If you’re weak or a woman you might need help.

assembly required
I don't know why I'm going to tell my secrets for easier assembly of this shield but I assume that you're a musician too and that counts for something. Call a friend. I assembled mine by myself without breaking anything but I am a superior male with skills. So, call a friend. Find a rubber mallet. Find some rubbing alcohol. Open beers because you're going to sweat and curse a bit. Examine a hinge. Hopefully it is obvious which is the inside(toward drummer) and which is the outside(toward audience) side of the hinge. Stand the first plexi-glass section on it's long edge and straddle it. Apply rubbing alcohol to edge of glass with gauze or paper towel and apply (liberally) to the slot of the hinge involved as well.Push the top corner of the hinge onto the glass, bend the opposing edge of the hinge out of the way and use the rubber mallet to tap the hinge onto the glass little bit by little bit until it is fully seated. This is the easiest one. Now,onward. Stand that first one up on its short edge and aim the long edge without the hinge on it into the corner of a room or into your cooperative friend. Get the next piece of plexiglass, apply rubbing alcohol liberally to edge of glass and hinge as before. Tip the top edge of the plexi into the hinge slot and push in til it seats. Again bend the hinge(CAREFULLY! )so that you can tap the hinge onto the plexi. Go easy, have patience, don't force things, and you will be fine.Repeat the above process for the remaining sheets then marvel how I did that all by myself. I made up many new combinations of curses, trust me.It works well in our bandroom. I checked into buying the components and building my own shield but could not beat this price by a longshot. As long as you can assemble it without breakage, this is a good deal.

Solid product that will cover a large drum kit or audio board.
FedEx dropped the ball on the delivery of this product but the seller was VERY responsive and helped me get FedEx to finally get it to me. I used it to isolate an audio board on a small studio control room and it worked perfectly. Assembly is a little tricky getting the panels seated all the way in the hinges but 2 people and a soft mallet got the job done. Perfectly clear and the angled panels for the top worked well and had good connectors. Assemble it flat on the floor with one side against the wall to better seat the long hinges. The polycarbonate is very durable but clean with a no lintel rag with an anti static plastic cleaner for a very professional look.

Not worth the trouble.
This shield is incredibly cheap. The plexiglass is incredibly flexible and will not stand straight. The hinges are incredibly cheap and CONSTANTLY come off.I recommend spending a bit more and buying a more reliable shield. I could not get it to visually look good without HOURS of work. It just is not worth the trouble.Sound wise, it gets the job done. But if you want a visually pleasing product that is structurally solid, this is not it.
