I purchased the 12oz HuNu collapsible coffee cup to stop using disposable cups at the office and also have something more portable than a stainless insulated tumbler.It packs as flat as 2 stacked smart phones so it disappears in a minimalist messenger bag. The deployed height is such that it fits in Flavia coffee machines without touching or removing the drip basin. On these points alone, the cup is a win but it has added benefits because it functions as a fidget toy when empty and a stress toy when filled with pebble ice y’all! I can’t recommend it enough and will eventually get a few more so I have a rotation!For stability, I would rate it higher than a tumbler or paper cup because it has a little flexibility and tends to self-right from minor bumps. With the lid on and vent closed it doesn’t spill a drop on your laptop keyboard when you spin around in an office chair and catch it with an elbow. Even with the vent open, it only has a slow dribble when you elbow it the other direction and it tips on the desk. Pro tip: place it further back on the desk and out of elbow range!Temperature retention is less than an insulated tumbler but, especially with the lid on, far superior to paper cups. At 12oz, a hot or cold beverage is consumed before the temperature changes enough to cause discontent.I would imagine that a user could pack a tea bag or a few tablespoons (60ml) of drink mix in the bottom while collapsed for enhanced portability.No ill has come to it when cleaning in the dishwasher.Expert tip (use only when empty!):To remove the lid, open the vent, pinch and pull the bottom out to deploy, then close the vent. Invert near a countertop or over a hand and give the cup a gentle squeeze. The lid will come off with a muffled *pop*.

I was disappointed that the band is not included otherwise would have given 5 stars. Wasn’t sure at first but quickly became very attached to this cup. Feels good in my hand, easy to wash and does not stain at all. Does great in the microwave. I like that it folds up compactly so I can keep it handy. Just the right height for my Nespresso and fits in my car’s small cup holder.

I use this mug to take my coffee with me on dog walks.1. Fits easily into my pocket and doesn't leak.2. There is an odor at first, but it's already dissipating after three uses. I'll update if the odor doesn't go away in a reasonable time frame.3. The lid is very easy to drink out of. Not sure why some have issues.4. Stylish and easy to use.The only thing I wish was that there was a hole built in somewhere that I could use a clip to attach to my belt and/or leash. But other than that, well worth the money and something I'd recommend to anybody.

Cup seems good. Pretty thick wall which is nice compared to most others. Not the bad all the info and other reviews said about the strap to help hold close and help with hot holding was not in my box was missing. That was the biggest reason for buying this one bc I do a lot of winter time camping.

The media could not be loaded. Technically, this is not leak proof, that said, I did knock the cup over on accident while it was full of coffee and nothing spilled out of it when it tipped over. The cup is very light, I’m a college student and it’s great to take this cup to class and collapse it when I’m done with my cup of coffee. It packs well, it’s easy to use, insulation may be lacking a little, but I expect that from a collapsible mug.

I had previously purchased this product from the HUNU website directly and I loved it, but I lost the sleeve that came with it. Since I didn't see a way to purchase just the sleeve, I purchased this additional cup with sleeve. Unfortunately it didn't come with a sleeve, though! :(The cup is tricky to hold by the very top of the cup and lid when it contains a hot beverage. (The silicone gets very hot so it's impossible for me to hold it around the middle of the cup). It still works, it's just tricky to use with hot beverages. I like the lid and it collapses well. The lid fits well in the closed position as well to keep your drips inside after you use it.

I bought this for hot drinks at camp. At first, I was worried that the lid wouldn't stay on the cup or that the cup would collapse when putting the lid on but neither happened. The size is perfect!

Product description and photo mention an insulation strap. Not included with product when delivered.Might be send this item back. Strap is needed this get hot when drinking coffee.
