Scotch NaturalsTM nail polish is 100% free of toxins and solvents and eliminates the concern for safety hazards, toxicity and VOC issues currently facing solvent-based, 3-free nail polishes without any loss of performance. Many of the "3-Free" polishes available in the marketplace still contain harmful solvents, such as butyl and ethyl acetates, nitrocellulose, and phthalic anhydride, which can damage nails and be harmful to your health. For a natural, long lasting manicure we highly recommend our nourishing base coat to provide the perfect foundation to maximize adhesion and improve wear and our top coat to improve chip resistance and for a high gloss shine. Polish Remover: For easiest removal, soak nails in warm water for a few minutes. Pre-moisten all nails with remover allowing time for polish to soften. Then moisten cotton pad with Soy Polish Remover and rub across nail to remove. You can also remove any remaining polish using an orange stick. After removal, thoroughly rinse nails.

Bad Product
Doesn't last a day - scratches right off. Good idea, but bad product. Please don't waste your money. I wish I didn't.

FOLLOW SN'S INSTRUCTIONS FOR FANTASTIC RESULTS!! WATER-BASED POLISH ROCKS!!!!!
I am a huge fan of Scotch Naturals: the colors are really unique and you can tell that they are created by someone with a very good eye for bringing out an exquisite color. This is a gorgeous deep red: I apply three very thin coats of it, and I'm sure that when some of the water evaporates out of the bottle I will only need two coats. That's the great thing about water-based polish: you can always add a drop or two of water if you need to dilute its thickness!!!Some users express disappointment w/ Scotch because they haven't applied a water-based polish correctly: it's a totally different experience from using solvent-based polish. I went to Scotch Naturals website and followed their directions:[...]They recommend applying before bed so it can "cure" overnight. It dries to the touch amazingly fast; you aren't supposed to wait long in between applying coats, but once you're done, LEAVE IT ALONE FOR A FEW HOURS. At first I didn't realize how different it was going to be using a water-based polish, but it's a whole new experience.I always buff my nails to get a good surface for polish adherence, apply the sticky base coat, 2-3 coats of color and 1-2 of top coat, and I do it at night now. My nails are good for around 4 days. But since I'm ready for a change at that point, and I always like to let my nails "breathe" in between paintings, that period of time is fine for me. Besides, no nail polish I've ever used looks good after day 4. Not unless you're the queen of England and the only thing you use your hands for is to wave to your loyal subjects. Anyone who thinks nail polish will look fabulous after 4 days is living in a fantasy world: there's just no way--at least never in my experience.I have used top brands in the past--Mac, Chanel, Clinique--as well as some of the safer solvent-based brands like BB Couture and Karma Organics, but I am enjoying the completely odorless experience of using water-based polish. I've always done my own nails and now it's a faster, totally UN-SMELLY, UN-STICKY EXPERIENCE (except for the sticky base coat: don't expect it to dry to the touch until you apply a coat of color on top of it).Another really good thing about this polish: if I slop a little onto the skin around my nails, it comes right off my fingers in the shower! No need to do time-consuming cleanup like with solvent-based nail polish.I give Scotch Naturals 10 stars: I never seen such pure colors, there is no odor and no toxins. Nothing makes me happier than this final point.Make sure your nails are 100% clean before applying polish; do it at night and allow to cure. FOLLOW SCOTCH'S DIRECTIONS. Before I went to their website and followed their directions, I painted my nails in the morning, let it dry, exposed my gloved hands to hot water and the polish peeled right off.

Love This Beautiful Deep Cherry Color!
Love this polish!! This color is very similar to Chick Flick Cherry from another popular brand which I won't name. That's why I bought this color - I wanted a non-toxic version. I used this polish for a pedicure, following the very simple directions from Scotch Naturals site, and still no chips almost 2 weeks later. You do need the Scotch sticky base coat and top coat. Looks like regular polish but so much healthier for you, less toxic than even the 3-free nail polishes. The only very slight difference I found was that I needed 3 coats of color, not the usual 2. But that is a small price to pay for a non-toxic pedicure. I am a Scotch Naturals fan for life!
