My baby is 2 months old but the weight of a baby double his age will this be suitable

Unless he is the height of a 6 month old I don’t see it working for him, my 4 month old was too small for it, he’s 6 months now and I would only now consider using it. This is absolutely not appropriate from birth

Hi it's recommended for children up to 1year or 11kg so if you 15month old is below 11kg it should be fine.

What's the difference between the seat and the support option?

Not much of a difference - maybe if your baby is older it provides a decent boost but for our 6 month old it remained huge.
