When I looked in the shower head, there still seemed to be beads in there, but on a whim, I went ahead and ordered these replacement beads. Mission successful! With these new beads in place, I once again felt clean after a shower. A great advantage of this kit was that it came with 2 packs of beads. There's some kind of special toll you need to ger beads out so you can replace them. Any ideas?Can't get beads out to replace them. Any ideas?

I realize these requests for a review are computer generated, but I won't know for about 6 months (the point where I replace the originals) whether they are just like the ones that I toss out. If they are the same kind of beads (and they appear to be) then they will work well. I've had the shower head for only a couple of weeks, but I can tell the beads really do soften the water. This is a great idea, and really take up no extra space since they fit in the handle of the shower head. No reason to think the replacement beads will be any different. Now, the unknown is how long the first beads will last...they say 6 months, but that depends on how many showers are taken, and what they are correcting in your water.
