Works good, already had same tyoe with brake levers on another bike, got this one for bike with hydraulic brakes .Yes it does down shift 2 gears at a pull on the rear cluster....just like my other one... So? , either half pull or click the trigger and go back one... fugure it out 🤓Do like that this one also has cable adjuster on the right side too..Good product good price highly recommend.

I bought these to put on a kids bike to update the shifters. The size of the shifter body is larger then a Sram or Shimano and can get in the way of the brakes so just keep that in mind. It probably not an issue for an adult.

using the a2 shifters to move an a5 2 to 1 pull , 11 to 40 tooth 7 speed gear with 50, 36 24 front gears . works flawless . the a2 has an easy to see gear indicator , is easy to reach with the thumb and fingers . great value upgrade . this is my third set a2 , a5 and a7 .

7 speed sid not work.

Smooth shifting with shimano rear freewheel.rear shifts perfectly, front 3rd a little harder to push but still works ok. Easy to adjust.bar grips are comfortable also.

Requires WAY too much thumb strength to shift

Worked great to convert a hiland kids bike to trigger shift. 3x is still pretty difficult to push but way better than the twist grip. 7 side is perfect and easy.
