These are ones. 'The Chosen Ones'. The ones prophesied. The ones you've been waiting for.
tl/dr- Got a couple as samples in a vacuum kit I picked up. They worked amazingly. Better than any other I've tried, and I think I've tried them all. Hunted them down and bought a stack directly.I use a food saver machine. I love it, but I'm moving away from disposable bags over to solid plastic containers, one because of the environment, and two because the bags I've used just. don't. work. I've used Food Saver ones and Ziploc ones. They just don't seal. As soon as you lift up the nozzle after sealing then some air gets in and you can see the bags expand. And even those rare cases when you do get a good seal, after a day in the freezer or where-ever, the bag has expanded a bit. It just felt pointless.Enter these bags. As I said above, a couple came in a kit I bought. Very first one I used, the seal was immediate. A tighter, closer seal than previous bags I've used, and it held! It held for a couple days that used it for that item.It might sound funny but I guess this was a low-key annoyance for me for years. Because when I saw that, I was floored. I immediately went and searched and found someone selling just the bags.So really it's a little too early to tell for sure, but the first three bags I've used- fantastiche!Check out my pics. Bottom right of the 4 pack is one of the bags I usually use. This exact one is pretty good, actually, but you can still see some space in the bag. And this good of a seal- this is basically as good as it gets, and I only get a seal this good maybe once in a dozen usages across all my bags. And now compare it to the blue topped bags, these. Each one is super tight. These have been in the freezer for coming up on a week. The older one was in the freezer longer, but the seal also was basically the same as it is now.So I'm amazed. Chef's kiss. Bravo!Like I said, 3 out of the lot is maybe a little early to draw final conclusions, and we'll see how they do on re-use. And I'll come back an update if anything serious changes. And I am curious about how it's made. I'm not sure I'd trust it to actually sous vide with it. But that's true of any plastic bag.

Money saving bags that are compatible with my hand held food vacuum!
I recently got a hand held vacuum sealer unit. It works great, but it only came with 2 bags. The vendor didn't list any possible bags that would work, so I shopped around, did a little research and these seemed to be the right choice. They are VERY inexpensive and are just as easy to use as the 2 bags that came with the unit. I like to make low carb meatballs and freeze them into individual serving bags. I usually use ziplock freezer bags, but they tend to cause ice crystals, so I started using the vacuum method. These bags are the PERFECT size for this. If you look in the picture, they are the ones with the BLUE circle on them. The plastic is the same thickness as the 2 that came with the unit. The zip is the same and I didn't notice any odd smell coming from them like some plastics tend to have. When I've finished consuming the meatballs, I just turn the bag inside out and give it a quick, soapy sponge off in the sink and hang them on the drainer to reuse. I recommend these for hand held vacuum units. They're efficient, quick and easy and the price is right!

Good, just not perfect seals all the time.
I have found these useful in keeping items fresher. The reason I gave it 4 stars is that the seal isn't always perfect. It is good, but just not perfect. Though I wonder how often anything like this is perfect, but it still helps. Just if it has been a minute maybe make sure to go back and re-suck any air out.

Bags for jar sealer.
Ordered extra bags for my jar sealer but don't know if I will use them all. The bags are reusable and very easy to clean. Good value for your money

Dependable, No leaks, No blowouts!
My order for the bags in two sizes arrived in record time. I already had items ready for the bags and I began filling them immediately. They are a good thickness with a strong zipper closure. After filling several bags I used my vacuum sealer but nothing happened, checked the seal, not the problem. The bags I ordered were for a different sealing system. Feeling committed to this bag and liking it, I am using them in the pantry for dry pasta, beans, rice, cake mixes, etc. I fill the bags and squeeze as much air out as possible, seal, label and stand the bags up in a acrylic container. Not the intended use, but I am very happy with these bags and if I had the right vacuum sealer they would be perfect.
