Very light yet very durable case!
Very light and does the job great! I am on my 2nd Gator case, only reason I had to buy the 2nd is because I decided to downsize to a smaller box for portability. Great case, great construction, light and VERY durable.

A great rack case at excellent price point
This case is used for a portable PA system for my shows. I like the overall look of this case, and it does come with a good supply of rack screws and washers.I also like that there are rack rails in both the front AND back of the case, very handy for adding rear supports to heavier gear like amplifiers. (I'm using a QSC CX model that doesn't need the extra support.)I also like the use of seals in the front and back covers, those will help to keep dust and moisture out.Minor quibbles:The rack rails are not aligned well, only off by a little but still work. Some gear with tighter tolerance in the rack ear screw holes may not want to sit perfectly level in that case. My amp and mixer were able to be set level though. The latches are a bit fussy to engage, but seem of good quality. Time will tell how they really hold up.This case is a lot less expensive than a comparable SKB case, but overall seems as though it will be just as durable.Overall a great value and good investment to protect your gear.

Not quite as good as my old rolling rack, but good enough in weekly use.
This is a well featured rack, it has good protection all around, and the front and back rack mounting is great. It's a bit bulkier than the rolling rack it replaces, but the double rack makes it an upgrade in most respects. My one gripe are that the front and back only fit one way, I had to note them inside so I know which is which, and they don't quite sit right. My old mobile rack had a metal ring on the front which, upon reflection, is a better design for fit. The latches are also obnoxious on this rack in that they spring back aggressively and often twist the latch when you're trying to open or close it before you're quite ready. I'm only taking one star for this, but when I'm using it, it's irritating enough for me to regret buying it while latching and unlatching the front and back-- but only at those moments. It rolls well, the handle is tough and snaps into place well, and the interior works perfectly for my cable routing and front/back mounting plan.

Exactly as described. Great Case for light travel
The media could not be loaded. Exactly as described. Its light, flexible but not flimsy. I WOULD NOT FLY WITH THIS. But perfect for lighter travel and studio or band room use. Everything fit great. It came with screws that did not strip

Goodnuff
Gator is a good company. I’ve never had an injection mold case before. Always used the standard steel-n-wood heavy cases. So even though these are much lighter, they seem to be as strong. A possible weak point might be the clasps time will tell.I do like the handles molded with the case. They have a bigger grasp. As with all cases, the front and back are agnostic, so I attach their rear cover upside down. I have purchased two of these to house amps for monitor wedges for live sound work. One of the amps is definitely bigger and heavier than the other and so far the case seems to be holding up just fine.they do have some oily residue inside and a nasty smell when you first open them up but airing them out and wiping them down should solve those issues for you.I do like the fact there are plenty of screws provided with the cases.

Very sturdy and convenient!
This case is perfect for our Universal Audio Apollo 8Xp. They fit perfectly and there’s plenty of breathing room for both interfaces. Now I know they are safe when I am not using them.

Excellent protection for my mixer.
I bought a Soundcraft Ui24R mixer for my DJ and cover band gigs and have been nervous carrying it around naked for the past several months. I had been looking for a 4U rack to mount it in but everything was way too deep. This one is only 13 inches deep, which is more than i need but still small enough to sit on my DJ booth shelves without sticking out. I bought a 1U PDU to put in the back to take advantage of the extra space. I'm super impressed with the construction of this case. It's soft enough to absorb a drop or getting hit with something but tough enough not to fall apart from wear and tear. Overall, seems like a sound investment to protect my expensive gear.
