This works really well in landscape with smaller headphone plugs. Longer 3.5mm jacks are uncomfortable. This has more power than the official (much lauded) Apple equivalent. It's more bass forward and slightly more resolving (surprisingly). Good build quality.

It is excellent product in case you have decent wired headphones and don't want to use Bluetooth earbuds.It is much better than dac and amp build into mobile phones.But it only makes sense if you wired headphones are about 30 quid at least.Obviously it is not device capable of driving full size dynamic headphones well.You need portable amplifier/dac (like Chord Mojo) for that.Remember when looking for this type of product that some similar devices have either lower quality dacs or just extract sound from mobile phone usb c port, without any uplift in quality.

Essential if you do not want WiFi earbud use. Great sound quality and sound fitting in usb c slot.

I purchased two types of these, and I prefer this ones design and style. It plugs in precisely and sits neatly as part of the phone, my phone detected the connection and most importantly I can now plug in my wired headphones, I mostly use Bluetooth but I really missed the option to use wired sets, as I use phone audio every day the Bluetooth eventually needs recharged so it's great to have the choice now or while waiting for them to charge back up.

It's not flush fitting but works for me on my tablet.

Lasted just over a month then immediately stopped working . Was used Very lightly only every few days and handled with care however it still broke

Only had it a short time, so bare that in mind...I've just came from an Apple USB-C to 3.5mm jack which was a replacement for an Argos one which replaced an original Stouchi one... a cable / adapter sticking out of the bottom does not work well with a back pocket phone.On Android at least, there was little to no difference between the Stouchi and the Argos replacement. The Apple one was underpowered and needed the phone at full volume to even come close to the others. . .This UGreen one is by far the best I've had so far for audio quality, volume, etc. (so much so that I am writing this really early on). I am hopeful that the low profile of this will help it last longer than the others (and it's a pack of two, so that will help as well)If something changes, I'll look to feed that back. But as is, it is pretty good.

It's a novel idea but it does not work very well. If the connection is moved at all - like when it's in your pocket - the connection drops

I own 3 of these. I use 2 at home and I keep one at my office. I've owned these for a while now.I use one with my Sennheiser HD 598 Cs headphones and my Samsung phone to listen to Tidal, another on my USB-C hub for my home office setup, and one on my work laptop in my remote office.The only other DAC I can compare it to is a $100 gaming DAC (Fosi K5), and of course it's not going to beat that, but at the price and convenience, I'm very happy with this.I've read the negative reviews for this thing and not sure how those folks ended up with one that "only lasted a week" and I'm baffled. I own one of these that has been outdoors, in my dirty pocket, has gotten wet from rain and sweat (I doubt these are water resistant) and it still works perfectly.
