The lid is plastic so you can see what's in it when you store it The size seems small, but it's fine and I like it I use it to wash and drain vegetables rather than fish or meat It looks classy just sitting on the table

Perfect for my needs
I realized the bad reviews but I still ordered for the specific purpose I needed this for: bacon. I own a food truck and offer burgers, so after cooking the bacon, I need something to place the bacon in while letting the grease drip. This is perfect! It’s probably a little more expensive than you’d like to buy for something like this, but this size will hold enough bacon for my needs.

Inner rack warped
The media could not be loaded. I really wanted to like this but I'm gonna have to return it.The inner rack is warped, so it doesn't sit flat on the container.

No instructions in English
Good containers, but the guide is in Chinese/ Japanese or Korean languages, so it is impossible to read for people who don’t know these languages. It says: made in Germany. Please include English language if you sell the product on Amazon.
