Where to connect earth ground wire to the inverter?

If this was a converter from AC to DC there would be a ground wire terminal on the converter. The inverter is DC doesn't need a ground wire for the inverter. AC going out from the inverter 120 AC terminal is grounded through the 120 If you inadvertently wire an unwanted extra path to ground, the Ground Fault will trip. The inverter AC output terminals supply the Neutral to Ground connection and no other such connections are permitted.

Is ther any voltage when I connect a voltage meter to the ground wire and neturanl? Is the 120v split betweem the neturral and the hot wires?

The inveter doesn't differ the netural line from the hot line, it is no voltage between netural line and ground line theoretically，in fact. it could get 0-20V voltage in meter due to the meter or Interference from other circuits. it is pretty normal. Based on 3500 watts it should run my rv air conditioner. currently runs the entire rv on 15 amp shore power. will it run it?

The type of batteries that deliver high enough output to run the AC unit are the 300ah lithium batteries. The battery storage must match the size of inverter minimum of 3500 watts. In this case a person would need (4) 100ah lithium batteries minimum to match this inverter to out put the needed power to run 1,500 watt AC unit Then to continously run the AC during the daytime while charging the batteries 3,500 watts in solar panels. In this case you would want (6) 100ah lithium batteries or (2) 300ah with 200amp hour continously output to the inverter

Is the ac voltage adjustable?

Not that I am aware of. It is 12 volt dc input and 120volt ac output. It has did a good job so far. I use it to supply power for a laptop and cutter and a air blower.
