I would usually finger knit to make a thicker cord, which can result in my hands hurting, but with this no hands needed during the process :) That being said it did take me a minute to figure it out(so yarn was scarified), but I'm thankful that they supplied a small bundle of yarn that served that purpose.Also if you want to do an entire bundle of yarn it will curl up on itself, so you have to go and un tangle it while you go.This would have made it a four star review, however it also is a cat toy 😆. So that gave it a bonus star for me

This machine is incredibly easy to use. I had it set up and running within 10 minutes, and I was able to complete an entire project in just one day. It’s been a lot of fun to work with—I’m really enjoying it!

Very Micro like thid product

Very excited to get this and then unfortunately machine is broken. The needle hooks are loose and then get stuck. Ruined a good amount of my yarn trying to “get it to work”. Watched tons of videos to make sure I was doing it right…. Very expensive to not work at all! Ordered a replacement, won’t get here for another three days. I’ll keep you posted once the new one gets here. Now have to go return the broken one… ughhhhhhhh!

The media could not be loaded. Thorough instructions made set up easy and it works great with a 3 wt bamboo yarn running from a spool. Makes a beautiful cord. The cord does twist up, but that happens with a manual I-cord maker, too… it’s just the nature of the beast. Would like to have the ability to adjust the speed (higher), but it’s not a deal breaker. Having this set up allows me to sit and do other things while it runs. Well made and came with a nice selection of accessories (yarn, extra hooks). I use my own longer USB-C cord.

The media could not be loaded. On one hand, if you have an understanding of how to use icord makers, it's very easy to set up and get going. I use a hand crank icord maker and it's very easy and fast for me to use.Upon setting this up, getting yarn started, adding weights, and pressing the power button...it's soooo slow.It's like watching grass grow or paint dry. Painfully slow.Now this would be great for a newbie to icords. But I want SPEEEEEED. I wish there were speed options and I keep checking for any hidden buttons but cannot find any.You can't leave this unattended, which I understand, but when it's so slow, watching it pains me.Have I mentioned it's slow?I will definitely use it. But wish upon wish it would magically speed up!
