Quality paint
This product seems very good quality and in application, it goes on and feels like a high-quality, fairly thick water-based emulsion rather than an oil-based, hard wearing floor paint. Unlike an emulsion you don't need to stir it before use, but you will need some White Spirit at hand to clean your paint brushes afterwards. It seems to cover very well and also seems to go quite far.The 'Frigate' (or battleship grey) colour version of the paint I purchased is slightly lighter than I imagined it to be but it looks clean and fresh on the garage floor. I applied the paint by brush and it goes on easily. “Thorough preparation'” of a floor is of course important if you want the paint to stick to it; and as I heard someone quote on YouTube the other day - "fail to prepare, prepare to fail". Essentially though the 'floor preparation' basically means cleaning it to remove as much dust and dirt or grease as possible with a vacuum cleaner perhaps and maybe mopping it with some soapy warm water, then rinsing it and allowing to dry.As this paint is oil-based it dries at a slower rate than any water-based emulsion would - this is not a bad thing if you've got a large area to cover as it won’t dry out as you're actually painting with it. The Instructions on the tin, advise allowing it to dry overnight before applying a 2nd Coat, and that it will 'fully cure' or fully harden in 7 days. It’s not a job you can try to rush in my opinion. Would recommend this stuff.

Good floor paint
Very easy to apply and dried hard within 24 hours. Garage floor looks smart. Colour is a shiny silver grey. Just the right consistency and went on easily with a roller. Recommended

Concrete floor paint
This is a really good paint. I applied mine with a brush, rather than a roller & because I had to split the work up into three sessions (for each coat), I tightly wrapped the brush in cling film till the next session & the brush was just as good a couple of days later when I re-started work. I brushed quite hard & spread the paint out as much as I could whilst ensuring the floor was completely covered. The brush marks just melt away & you can't see any when it dries. Second coat went on a few days later & again, brush marks disappeared. I was surprised to find it dry/cured after a couple of days, since it was quite cold & the atmosphere damp when I applied it & I expected it to take much longer. I had about 10 square metres to paint with two coats & I still have nearly a litre left out of the 2.5 litres I bought. I have walked on it & slid a large fridge over it (being careful!) and it didn't scuff the paint surface at all. Of course, at this stage I don't know how long it will last, but it does appear to be tougher than other floor paints I've used, so I'm hopeful. It looks very good. The cost was a fraction of other floor paints and it arrived quickly & was well packed. Excellent value.

Strong and thick floor paint.
Prime the concrete floor first with unibond pva, then the paint will stick like you know what. Nice dark green colour. Very pleased with result.

Good coverage BUT it won't hold up to vehicle wear and tear
This product goes a long way, it's very easy to apply, looks nice and works well. However, no matter how many coats you do, it won't hold up to the tires of your car driving back and forth over it. I park my car in my garage every day, it only lasted a week before you start to see a flaking where your tires park. This is the third time buying it, as each year I do a fresh coat on my garage floor. Unfortunately I'm committed to it for a while.
