Smaller than expected and doesn’t work
The media could not be loaded. Smaller than I expected and some pieces fit onto other poles that don’t belong there. This toy would only be good if your kid knows it doesn’t go on that pole.

Simple, engaging toy!
I saw that this said for ages 2+, but my daughter is 15 months and very interested in figuring out the correct shapes right now. I made sure I looked over these very well before giving them to her, and I do not see anything that was out of place for a 15 month old to play with. She took to this toy instantly. I showed her how to use the toy and after watching me for a bit, she started playing with it by herself. She played with this for over 15 min in one sitting, which is pretty great for that age. It is small enough to not take up a lot of toy space / storage, but the pieces are not small enough to be swallowed. The only thing I watch for, is to make sure she doesn't chew on them because they are wooden painted pieces. However, under supervision, this is an excellent toy that doesn't need batteries for lots of lights and sounds (which is refreshing). Very pleased with this toy and would recommend!

Granddaughter barely interested.
Sad to say, my granddaughter was barely interested. Item has good reviews, though.

Fun and educational toy for little ones
This is a GREAT evolution of an age old toy for toddlers - the idea of stacking and sorting different shapes is great for building both visual recognition of the shapes as well as the fine motor skills of doing the sorting and stacking itself. I love that the toy is made of wood (actual wood in this day and age is quite refreshing to find!) and that it's brightly painted - of course with a name like Fisher Price, you can be sure that it's well-built with high quality materials and very child safe, even for the 2-3 year old set where everything goes in their mouths too.On other nice thing is that - particularly for the smallest kiddos - the way it's designed, almost can't put the shapes on the wrong place. So in that way the toy guides the little ones to the right place and promotes success over frustration! So if you're looking for a toy that will occupy your toddler while helping them start to learn (and working on their fine motor skills all at the same time), this is a great toy to look at. Give it a try today!

Perfect toy for toddlers!
I got this toddler toy for my niece who just turned one. My kids are in college so everything toddler is long gone except for some stuffed animals. My niece loved this toy and was able to grab the pieces and hold them while roaming around (she just started walking). She's not getting the shape thing but she's able to remove them, hold them, bite them (of course) so that's a plus. I'm sure she'll grow into it when co-playing with her parents / aunts / uncles.
