Sony RDR-VX535 DVD Recorder & VCR Combo Player with 1080p HDMI Upscaling and Bonus HDMI Cable

I have been wanting to transfer all my VHS tapes to DVD for some time now and I found a seller and machine that both work great!!! I've been in touch with this seller for only good reasons. He even included an HDMI cable along with video cable. I had to contact him on a remote control issue which he promptly answered. All I can say is this is one great seller! I've been on Amazon for awhile now and I've dealt with sellers before but, Robert is one of the best!! I will definitely do business with "Home Theater Deals" again!!! Overall satisfaction: AAA+++

Bought the same model in early 90ds but had gotten damaged settled on other Devices but this one model was still the best and fortunately you did not come with a manual and I was able to get a manual from PC Richards who sold me the product so I’m happy to have a new one in good condition and thank you

the dvd-recorder did not work properly, the item displayed very loud sound for several minutes and I couldn't enjoy the usage of the product. I paid well over $600 for this item, returned it in May and and I'm still awaiting my refund to be applied back onto my credit card.

Good product good seller

I purchased this DVD recorder / player last year, and have found it to be very easy to use. You just insert your blank DVD, queue up your recording input, and press the RECORD button. I've used it to transfer to DVD, for archive purposes, videos that I've had recorded on VHS tape and 12" laserdisk format. I also use it to archive video that I've saved to my Cable TV DVR. The fidelity of the recordings is very high. My only complaint is the "copyright protection" which surprisingly kicked in and blocked my recording of some old VHS video from the 1980s.

Does not have a tuner.

This has been an unfortunate transaction. I received the first unit and it would not power up. Also the HDMI cable was missing. This unit was sent back and a replacement unit was sent. This replacement unit also had problems. The HDMI output would not work. Proper diagnostics was used and it would not work with another TV. This unit was also sent back to Home Theater Deals-Amazon Marketplace. At this time I have not received a reply to my inquiry about the problem found or the refund of my purchase and two return costs amounting to $262.98 for the original unit and return shipping costs of $21.29 for the first return and $ 21.38 for the second return. I would like to get this situation resolved. Thank You. Al W.
