If your not buying MOOG what are you doing?
Compared to Honda OEM these are so much beefier and just more to it, Quality is thru the roof, and like I said if your not buying MOOG what are you doing? I'll tell you.. Wasting your time and money, get these parts and you won't regret it as you will stop at Autozone or whatever even OEM don't look this good or feel good.

Fixed steering wander and unsettled feeling in turns
For the last few years my Element would wander more than I remembered while driving, and had an unsettling sensation on sweeping right-hand freeway curves, like it was going to tip over. With the front-right wheel off one day, I noticed the front bushing on my oem lower control arm was torn. After replacement, the steering tracks straight once again and the leaning feeling has improved. Replacing the entire LCA is much less work than trying to replace the bushings in the oem arm, of course this depends on your skill level and the tools and time you have available. One tip—be sure you’re able to separate the lower ball joint from the LCA before doing anything else! Use the proper tools/techniques for ball joints and protect the ball-joint threads with 12mm X 1.25 metric nuts or other physical thread-protector. This is the most difficult and most important step in the process. As you may have guessed, I didn’t do this and ended up damaging the threads of the ball joint, then had the ball joint come apart while trying to pop it out using the “Craftsman socket wrench + floor jack” method… meaning I had to then replace the entire ball joint itself, multiplying the time/effort needed on this project by 4/5 times.

Perfect fit/If at first you don't succeed
The first on had a bad bushing. Of course I didn't find this out until after it was installed and back on the road. I ran into an issue with the Replacement request so I ordered another control arm and simply returned the bad one. Between replacing the strut assemblies, ball joints, and lower control arms the vehicle handles much better and the front end is quieter on the road. In short "the juice was worth the squeeze." If you decide to DIY check out the YouTube videos; especially the one on separating the ball joint from the control arm ( search "easy ball joint separation on Honda Element" ). This will save you from needed a pickle fork and large mallet/hammer. It will however require the use of jack stands to safely complete the task (which I'm sure you already have if you're planning to do this job).

Faulty welding caused sway link bracket to come detached.
Contacted Moog via email about the situation and didn’t get any response.Had to purchase a new control arm from elsewhere.

Moog RK622173
I purchased this control arm along with the Moog RK622174 for a Honda Element. These are great quality. However, I did notice that these are made in China now instead of USA. You may need a ball joint separator and the GearWrench 3916D is a good tool that you can get on Amazon as well.

Happy with it
Happy with it so far. The noise is gone. There is no Ball Joint Assembly. I had to purchase the ball joint separately.
