This book isn't the regular personal finance book with a step by step guide to riches approach. Rather it deals largely with the subconscious and psychological aspects of money and how people view it, and then provides a nine step program. Most of the program talks about these psychological aspects and translates them into specific tools. More than investing advice, it has advice on how to spur savings and let go of material desires to reach financial security. It belabours the point a bit too much at times, perhaps targeted at a younger, millennial audience. For someone who has a stable approach to money or on his way to financial independence, it may not provide too much insight. But it does contain a lot of wise snippets specially in the first few chapters. Overall a decent one-time read.

You might think it’s a book about financial advices and blah blah. But take my words, this is not just a book on money but also about life. It is this life centric money book style that makes this book so successful and popular. Grab a copy and see yourself.

I have to admit that everyone has perused it.

The book gives you directions to find your goal. It lets you channel your focus towards your money but falls short of giving you how to do it technically. For that, you will have to read a lot of other books and if possible do some courses.
