Great product.
The Scott Caliper Release enabled me to shoot more accurate, by making me more comfortable and I feel have a smoother and better release. I recommend giving it a try.

Very good, but is not length adjustable
This pistol grip is very nice and feels good. It is a soft rubber and fits my hand well (6"1" 240lbs). It does not come with a lanyard(which I added). I knew the trigger was adjustable and very easily at that. However, I am a bit disappointed that the shaft, (draw length), is NOT adjustable. Most of the wrist releases do adjust,so I hoped this one would. Otherwise works great, a little loud, but overall reliable. Have only used it for targets.

This is the best release I've ever used.
I have a Stan Element TL Heavy Metal, a Scott Sigma and a T.R.U Ball Short -N-Sweet. None of them give the same accuracy and comfort level as the Scott Caliper. Maybe it is because I'm used to trigger control with my index finger but I have two of these (bought the second one after I thought I lost the first) and no matter how much I practice with thumb releases I can never get the same results in terms of accuracy and control. If you like index releases but don't like the wrist strap, give this a try and it will not disappoint.

I litteraly love this release.
I went to this release during winter league to take the slop out of my anchor point with using a wrist release. Read the reviews so I figured I would give it a try. My accuracy tightened up instantly. It feels perfect in my hand. I first thought it would be hard to pull bow back with it and It might slip out of my hand. But the way the finger groves are you will never loose grip of this release. It is all tight in your hand so you dont end up reaching with your index finger and end up "punching" the trigger. You actually squeeze it like you would a gun . I lost my original one in the woods and ordered another one before o found my original one. So I put some reflective tape and reflecting paracord on the end of it so if I ever loose it again I can find it easier with a flashlight at night. All In all if you dont want to use a thumb release this is the next beat thing for tight groups and consistency.

Excellent Product
This release grip may be more expensive than some wrist releases but the grip feels good in your hand and works very well. Used a friends release that he has used for several years and it performs very good. He and now myself will only use this grip. There are other hand held releases on the market but didn't have the good reviews this one had.

... shot several wrist strap releases in the past and like every one that scott archery produced and sold that ...
ive shot several wrist strap releases in the past and like every one that scott archery produced and sold that i have bought. a friend of mine let me try his grip release, same as this one but an older model that was actually one of the original models made by the man that created and founded scott archery releases right here in my backyard of Kentucky. the release he loaned me was great and the release that i received is awesome. i have a large frame hand and it fits perfectly and even my wife being a petite framed lady is uber comfortable with it so much so i ordered 2 more one for her and the second for a pack back up. you will not go wrong choosing any scott archery product and if youve not tried this style grip release i recomend you do, you will not be dissapointed.

Awesome product!
I have been using a wrist release since the first day I got into archery, and I am still pleased with my Cobra wrist release, but after reading peoples views on wrist release vs Caliper release I just had to try for myself. I did my research and found the Scott release had really good feedback, and seemed really well priced, so I ordered mine via Ebay (again Amazon would not ship to Australia) and when it came in the mail I was sort of shocked! I have XL size hands and this small release won't work! But I was wrong, it really fits inside my palm/hand really well, sure it could be a bit bigger, but it works just fine. The trigger is spot on, very smooth action, and instant release, and I am getting better groupings straight up! Sure I was not a bad shot before hand, but I am truly convinced this release is giving me better accuracy, I think because I control the small handle with my hand so well, it sort of becomes part of my hand, so when I release there is no jerk movement in any way!I am truly sold on this product, and it deserves every praise it gets on here! Get one you will not be disappointed! very very solid 5 out 5 stars for me! HI5UPDATE!!!!A few days ago I was practicing in my backyard, and after a few shots the small red trigger broke clean of where it attaches to the main body, this happened at full draw with my Invasion at 63 pounds, it caused my bow to de-rail, but I was just happy I was not injured and the arrow did miss my foam target but no one was injured! No damage was done to my bow, and only cost $20 to have my bow restrung by my local archery shop.I emailed Scott via their website explaining what had happened, and asked to see if I could purchase a new trigger, they emailed me back the next day telling me to ship the release back to them, all fine and well but seeing I reside in Australia I emailed them again explaining where I am located, and just want that small red trigger pin!And thats where I felt Scott took the road of care factor ZERO! No reply after I informed them where I live, so it looks my Aussie dollars are no problem for their bank account, but as soon as they found out I was on the other side of the world they went all cold on me! I never blamed them for the failing trigger and was more then happy to buy that small replacement trigger, and yes they list those replacement parts on their website! Now does that mean I would buy another Scott release? Nope! I have ordered a Cobra release, as I feel Scott does not seem to care one bit about overseas customers! Their loss as bad news/reviews travel real fast on the Internet and amongst the archery forums! Buyers be aware! And I will review the Cobra release as soon as I get it in the mail, HI5.
