Really good tent, phenomenal value, 2-person is a bit optimistic though...
I purchased this item because I wanted a light tent option for backpack camping, I opted for the 4-season tent vs the 3-season so I could use it in winter if I wanted. First I want to say that "2-person" is a *VERY* optimistic description for this tent, 2 small people maybe, but I'm 6'2" and 210lbs and nobody else is fitting in that tent with me, that said, I don't mind this as I bought it to use as a solo tent, but just keep in mind if you want to use it as a real 2-person tent you may wanna go with the 3 person tent to be safe. The tent is very quick and easy to set up, the supplied footprint will help keep the bottom free from damage longer, the poles are easy to use and the fly is easy to clip on.Despite the fact that there is conflicting information on this tent *IT IS FREESTANDING*. You can layout the groundcloth/floorsaver first, hook the poles into that, then set up the rainfly toss your gear under the rainfly that's been staked out, then set the tent up, then in the morning, take the tent down first, put it in your bag, then take the rainfly down. That's pretty important when backpacking to keep your tent nice and dry, especially since this tent is A LOT of mesh under the fly, alternatively you can just use the floorsaver and fly if you are looking do do that.I tested this tent out in my backyard on a night that wasn't supposed to rain, I put the fly on anyway just to see about airflow and was very comfortable in it, around 3am I woke up to a downpour, the entire inside of the tent stayed dry all throughout the night, so I am confident this tent will do a good job of keeping you dry even though it could be raining pretty hard. The aluminum stakes that come with it are nice as are the high vis reflective guylines. Overall I am very pleased with this tent. I can't really speak on the durability of it because I have not used it enough, but that said it does seem to be constructed very well and I have no doubts that, with the proper care, will last a good long time. Value for the money this tent is pretty hard to beat. If you are just getting into camping/hiking and want to get a good, light tent but not break the bank, this is a pretty good place to start. If you don't plan on ever camping outside of spring/summer/fall save a few bucks and get the 3-season one which is also a bit lighter.

Great value for money
I picked this tent up recently for a 2 night backpacking trip. Such a great value for $.Previously I’ve used much cheaper Walmart tents. This felt like great quality. I really like the ease of set up and the clips are really unique and easy to use. It packed compactly and was lightweight to carry. The pegs are nice but one did bend when trying to get it into tough ground.I used the ground cloth which I felt kept me warmer, but you could leave this behind if you wanted to lighten the tent. This was very roomy for one person, and I stayed dry in the rain. I would put a second person in a pinch, and would take child along in this. The single entrance really makes it more of a one person tent.I enjoyed the versatility of being able to leave the outside up and removed the inner shell to keep it dry when taking down in the rain. The vestibule was small but kept my boots dry overnight. I slept with my pack inside the tent beside me.Overall a great value for the money and this is a brand I’d like to try more of.

Good Inexpensive Mid Weight Backpacking Tent
I purchased this tent 4 years ago. I have camped in it many times over the years. I do take care of my gear, so I don't treat it as roughly as others may. That being said I feel this is a good time to review this tent.Overall Impression: NatureHike was founded in 2010 with the goal of making durable, environmentally friendly products that offer "Camping for Everyone". This tent is affordable, for me durable, and does offer the ability for the "everyman" to camp with ease. It is a solid 2 person tent, medium weight (under 4lbs) with a very easy free standing set up.You can set it up as an ultralight, without actually using the tent just the fly, pole and ground cloth, but I'm not a big fan of not having the "protection" a secure room provides so I have little experience with that. This past weekend our Boy Scout Troop both set up and camped in a torrential downpour. I placed my Cloud Up 2 in what I thought was the high ground, and instead was basically a marsh. I remained dry. Comfortable and dry. I do utilize the ground cloth which was beneficial at preventing some of the puddles. It was incredibly windy and sideways rain and I stayed dry all night. The tent is roomy, just under 50 inches interior, and able to fit 2 full size pads. At 40+ inches tall it is difficult to sit up in the tent, but a tent is designed as a shelter so I'm OK with that. I'm 73 inches long, and easily fit without touch the front or back of the tent. The tent can be set up in under 2 minutes and in the event of a storm, the Fly can be set up first and tent body set up dry as well. The packed size of the tent is smaller than most sleeping pads and is able to fit in a variety of places in most packs (even smaller 30L packs).Summarization of the PROS:Compact StorageRoomy InteriorEasy <2 minute set upMid-Weight (light weight for being split between 2 backpackers). Now for the things I don't like:There is only 1 door, and it opens at the front. When getting inside of it in a rainstorm, you will get the front of your tent wet. There is no way to sit in the vestibule and remove wet or muddy clothing before getting into the tent. It is heavier than any of the "premium" tents like those by Ztents and Durston, and at 4lbs its pretty heavy for 1 person even if roomy, but could certainly be worse. So I would wholly recommend this tent for the following people: Budget Backpackers, New Backpackers, Boy Scout Backpackers, Old Backpackers, and Weekend warriors. I have not had the privilege to be a thru-hiker on a major trail so I can't say about that, however I would have no problem taking this on a thru-hike.So I highly endorse this. Camp Often and Camp Happy. Signing off.
