T30C 30 pc. T-Shank Jig Saw Blade Set for Wood and Metal

I'm very impressed with the BOSCH T30C T-Shank Multi-Purpose Jigsaw Blades (30 Piece Assorted Set)! This set has a fantastic variety of blades for both wood and metal cutting. No matter what project I'm working on, I have the right blade. They fit my jigsaw perfectly and cut cleanly and efficiently. The quality is top-notch, as expected from Bosch. If you need a versatile and reliable set of jigsaw blades for different materials, this 30-piece assortment is a great value. Highly recommend!

I used these blades to cut 1/8 inch mild steel. I was very impressed by the speed of the cut and with a good amount of cutting didn’t use up a blade which is much better than expected.

The best jigsaw blades I've ever had, they hardly lose their sharpness, especially the metal cutting ones which are the ones I use the most. They last a long time and cut smoothly, I haven't had to use more than one of the wood ones because their sharpness has practically remained intact, I've changed the metal blades a couple of times after having made large quantities of cuts with each one, excellent product.

The blades are great, and this kit is probably the best bang for the buck. However, the case is just plain awful. If you held a contest to see who could design a worse case, you'd have nothing but crickets... Opening it is easy, but closing it means aligning all the blades in their slots. If you remove the plastic insert that causes that problem, all the blades slide out of their holders if the case isn't kept upright. Even worse, the back panel label doesn't cover all the openings in the case, so blades are free to slip out of the case. I found two escapees but lost another one before ever using them. Ten percent of the blades found their way out of the case in the first week.

I've used many other brands of jig saw blades, and the Bosch always come out on top. This is somewhat surprising as 99% of blades I've used have been Swiss made, with only the BluMol being USA. I am betting that one factory in Switzerland makes all the blades and brands them at the end of the line with different names. I think this is true of reciprocating saw blades as well. In any case, the Bosch blades have always performed best for me. This set is an excellent value, especially at the twenty it cost me. There is an excellent assortment and for a person like me who seldom uses a jigsaw, this set will last for a long time. The blades get five stars. The case, as others have mentioned, is a short coming. It's like an after thought design and will promote dulling of the blades if they are just put in there loosely. As another reviewer suggested, using tubing that's been slit down the middle to cover the teeth is an excellent idea. However, make sure to use silicone tubing (the type found in hobby shops for gas RC cars and planes), because using PVC could potentially cause damage to the steel of the blades due to the chlorides in the PVC. Also, silicone will stay put better than PVC, so there's less chance of the protector slipping off. The case gets one star. I didn't buy this set for the case, but it was a bonus. Overall a great buy.

I've only tried one wood blade from the set but it works well. The quality is good. The case is really nice and it's better than I expected. It's got a few dividers inside to keep you blades separate. It's also got lots of room for many more blades down the road.

Nice set. Works well. Have not tried the stainless steel one yet, but am confident that the BOSCH product will not let me down
