Velcro replacement balls
These were an exact match of the original balls that came with the set.

They’re fine
They work well if you purchase them for playing Velcro games. Unfortunately I purchased them to play with my dog and he tore up each ball immediately.

Firm and seem good for distance throwing
These are not the light, soft, cushy type sticky balls. They are about the size of tennis balls or baseballs and are about the firmness of tennis balls but heavier and not air-filled and bouncy like a tennis ball. They have some give to them but are fairly firm in the hand. They should be able to be thrown at least 20 to 30 feet without dropping too fast. I got these balls and the 35 inch red round spiderweb looking velcro target for my 7 year old to practice target throwing for improving accuracy. They seem perfect for that. Once we try the balls and target out, I will post additional information.

Break apart at seams often
Update (9-24-22): Just noticed that the balls break or split apart even BETWEEN the seams! Actually not surprising, since the interior wall of each ball is made of a clay-like brittle material! How clever of the manufacturer to design the ball this way! Assures easy destruction by moderate impacts against most surfaces, helps assure ball short life time, more reorders. I'm now repairing the ball with another application of superglue. Meanwhile We will use our tennis balls (see below for details on this).UPDATE (9-21-22): i I discovered that applying superglue (the Original Superglue Corporation) to the split-open surfaces reseals them successfully! (Loctite superglue did not work for me.) I wrapped the ball with a few strategically placed rubber bands to keep the split connected and let it set overnight before using. Then I filed the hardened glue that was on the outer surface to make sure the ball was smooth and soft and would not damage anyone or thing it might hit during play.Another method, entirely different, also works: Use regulation grade tennis balls! They have a fuzzy surface that sticks to hook velcro. The stick is not as strong as with the balls that come with my target toy, but they do well enough and do not slip off the target.UPDATE (9-10-22): After looking for replacements for these balls, I have given up, because they are much too expensive for balls that have such a short life. They break up and split open after a few hits on the wall or door knob or a door hinge! I believe this calls for a creative approach, such as using regular unpressurized regulation tennis balls, modified with small strategically placed strips of velcro on their surfaces. I will try that and report back later.I practice throwing these balls at a soft, inflatable velcro target, and I frequently miss the target, which has the balls smacking the door or walls on a regular basis. It doesn't seem like a hard hit, but it is enough to split open the ball, which affects its ability to stick to the target. Judging from at least one of the other reviewers, this might very well be a common result that is usually not being reported, because others are probably accustomed to the short lifetimes of their kids' toys. Another complaint I have about these balls is their replacement being hindered by their seemingly indefinite unavailability! I guess it's time to search for another brand of hopefully more well-made velcro balls.

A well needed replacement!
I teach Adaptive Physical Education to students with special needs. I have many students that have difficulty catching or using traditional baseball gloves so we use Velcro mitts / toss and catch games to work on visual tracking. Over time, the balls tend to get overly fuzzy and no longer stick to the Velcro mitts / pads. These balls are the perfect replacement. They are different than traditional tennis balls, which do not stick to the Velcro. These balls are quite a bit harder and do not bounce. So if you think you are buying a bright colored tennis ball, you are mistaken. These are designed specifically for the hook and loop Velcro items.

Great replacement balls! They really adhere to the paddle.

I ordered these by mistake and waited too long to return them.
I thought that these would have the sticky Velcro on them and that they would be smaller. It is my fault for not checking them better before ordering them. They are nice balls, but do not suit the purpose for which I needed them.
