They Do the Job
I've never bought this type of item before, so I was really happy to have a positive experience with them so far. I'm not a barefoot kind of person, so these are exactly what I was hoping for. They are comfortable and hug my ankles for better support. I've had no issues with needing to stop and adjust them during my activities. I've worn them twice for kickboxing and weapons training and the no-slip grips have been working wonderfully. When you're going up against an opponent in a training session, there are many opportunities to get thrown off balance from the power or techniques of another. But what's great, is that I haven't had any slipping or sliding issues that have unexpectedly taken me down. I've been able to maintain good footing. The same has been true in warm-ups while jogging on the mats and doing bear-crawls. One slip during a bear crawl and one could end up with a busted lip. But the grip has worked fabulously so I don't even worry about the what-ifs. I bought size medium which goes up to a mens size 10. I am a woman who wears up to a size 10 in womens shoes and these fit my feet to a T. I can't image that a woman who wears a size 12 would be comfortable in this size, so I would say choose wisely in that regard. Otherwise, these are such a great choice that I ordered and received a 2nd pair yesterday and will order a 3rd pair and possibly a 4th, so that I can wear a fresh pair for each class in any given week.

Great mat socks!
Purchased for use at martial arts to keep feet warmer during the winter. They work great! They fit snug so that you aren't sliding out of them and have good grip on the bottom. They are washed after each wear (I put them in a delicates bag) and then let them air dry and they are holding up great! Worked so well that I purchased a second pair.

Gets the job done!
Great product, and I own three pairs of them. Use them exclusively for BJJ rolling on the mats during practices and free rolls. Fit as expected, feet don't honestly get too sweaty in them (and it's a price I was willing to pay if they did), good grip when needed, but not dangerously so thus far. By that last bit, I mean, that if I need slippage, it's still there to prevent me from planting a foot and dangerously twisting an ankle or knee. What holds me back from giving them a 5/5 is simply the aesthetic component of the racing stripes. They start to get peeled off, or lose chunks immediately. First day rolling in my yellow and red striped sets, I lost a chunk of the stripe that same day each time. That being said, my feet didn't get cut up or rashed up and it just reinforces the value to me in using them. If people have got toenails that are cutting up these foot grips, they'd be tearing up my feet, so worth the cash to me. A little tough to put on or pull off (they aren't slip ons really), but that means a good, no slip fit once they are on and you aren't swimming around in them or bunching them up. Also, no undue pressure on my toes. Washing them in cold water, hand washables setting while flipped in side out, and letting them air dry so far seems to keep them in great, nearly new shape. No wearing out along the stitching and will update when they day finally arrives, altho I imagine it's pretty far down the road.

Keeps Feet Clean From Mats
These martial arts socks are perfect for keeping my youngest daughters feet clean and protected from the nasty stuff that can be lurking on Martial Art mats. My kids train in Muay Thai and the Gym mats are so dirty that when done training the bottom of your foot is black from whatever is on the mat. The grip on the bottom seems to keep my kids from slipping. So far my youngest has worn these socks for about 8 training sessions and there are no rips or holes yet. I wash these on the delicate cycle and hang dry. The ankle is a slip in style fitting but I would have rather had a added strap to tighten around the ankle as some others come with this feature. These also seem to fit on her feet better than another pair she has without sliding around on her foot too much.

Foot traction works, but had quality issue.
Look good. Fit well, no slipping while on the mats. Just wore them for the 2nd time. Surprised to see the left foot seam separate by middle toe. Not sure if it's repairable. Unfortunately, I had bought them about 40 days ago and therefore beyond the 30 day return policy. Probably a fluke.

Protects your Sparring Partners
I do a lot of wrestling and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and recently I caused a cut on one of my opponents from a toenail of mine. I do trim them regularly, but at my age, that doesn't always help. so I went looking for a pair of something for me my feet, and these fit the bill perfectly. They won't make you slip all over the place like regular socks will. They're pricey at 20 dollars, but worth it for the safety factor alone. I actually like them very much and recommend them to others.

Good for MMA
I practice MMA and the gym where I go has these mats that leave your feet super black. I have white carpet at home and I got tired of having to sit in the garage and clean my feet before coming in. I bought a few different brands to see which I liked best and I ended up keeping these. I don't really recall the reason why I chose these over all the others., but I do remember that some of the other brands didn't have any grip at the bottom. These have a nice grip and I also like that each sock is labeled R and L. I've had these for about 4 months and I use them about twice a week, and so far they are holding up well, except for some of the stitching that is starting to come undone on the back of one of them. I wash them with my regular colored clothes in a front load washer but I don't put them in the dryer. I recommend getting one size smaller than you would usually get. I'm a size 10.5 and got Medium, but I wish I would've gotten the Small. The Medium fits me good, but sometimes when sparring, my opponent steps on my toes and this catches the sock, which causes me to trip. I think a Small, would fit very tight, but would prevent this from happening. For BJJ, I don't have this problem. Overall, I recommend these.

The grips on the left sock were basically worn out as compared to the right if you look at the images. Inconsistent grip. I didn't even use them

Perfect for BJJ athletes, provides grip without the feeling that your foot might get stuck. I wear them to counteract Raynauds phenomenon and they work perfectly.

You can go to any trampoline park and get basically the exact same product for $1-5. Fifty bucks is kind of insane for the level of quality.

These are perfect to wear in my kickboxing classes. In the winter months my toes get too cold and these are perfect for keeping my feet warm but still feeling like I am bare foot and they are perfectly designed so you don't slip but are able to twist. I am so pleased I bought them that I bought another three pairs.
