Very heavy! High quality. Expensive, but worth the price.
Be prepared to do some lifting! Very heavy, But that’s price of quality. The little gray plastic inserts that keep your work from setting on the bar are nice. Takes getting used to. Worth it if you need to do dead flat wide glue-ups (Of course, you gotta have square edges lol.) I needed them for constructing an urn for someone’s ashes. I resawed some 3/4” mahogany to make a thin piece for the top of the top. I had to then glue the two 3/8” pieces edge to edge. Worked like a charm (you do need to know what you’re doing). Impressive! Expensive, but after a few uses you’ll forget the price and enjoy the ride. In my opinion, they are worth the money and the workout.

Excellent, so far.
I bought 4 of these Bora 50" clamps and have also had access to the similar Bessey clamp. As far as I can tell, all significant specs of these 2 brands are the same. Bar thickness and width measure the same. Materials seem very similar. These Boras actually provide better designed set-off spacers and they come with 3 rather than just 2, as that come with the Besseys. The clamping and operation methods are the same with both brands. I think the thing that really impresses me about the Boras is that they are assembled with bolts and nuts, rather than the permanent brad-like fasteners that are in the Besseys. To me, this means that the Boras are made to be able to be repaired/replaced and that is very significant to me. I like stuff that can be fixed, if or when needed. One more significant detail is that the Boras are much better priced than the Besseys. I know Bessey has the name, but for me, these are superior clamps in every way. Now, I admit I've only had them a short time and am in the middle of a major furniture project where I will use them. Time will tell if they are as good in the long run. If they fail, I'll be back to amend this. For now, I rate them as high as I can.

One already slips after a couple glue ups. update, they replaced it quickly!
I bought these for a glue up I was doing, and the pair both worked great. I went to use them again, and one of them slips, the teeth don't engage correctly.I did contact Bora, and they immediately shipped out a new one, so once I get that, I'll test it out, and update this review if needed. Their customer service is top notch. I had a small issue on a previous item (broken plastic foot), and they immediately shipped out the piece to me. I also have their lumber racks, which have been working great for me too. Overall, I really appreciate the value of their products and their responsive customer service, not all companies care as much about taking care of their customers quickly!I may have just received a lemon, and the rest are good, so we'll see once the new replacement comes in. I'll also see if I can do a teardown of the broken one to see if I can identify the failure point too.update 10/22/20 - I received my replacement in a week. I consider that good customer service. I did try tearing down the broken one, but I couldn't tell if anything was out of spec, and I didn't want to tear down a working one just in case I break it! I don't have any large panel glue ups in the near future, but if the replacement breaks, I'll update this review. I do hope it was just a lemon that I originally had.

Great product overall
These parallel clamps are exactly what I needed. Only problem has been that when I'm trying to adjust them to an initial width, they tend to get stuck a lot. I have to giggle the handle several times to get it to move. (Other times they move freely, so not sure why they stick so sometimes.)

They've got a customer for life with me.
I have the 50" clamps but what I'm actually talking about here is an incident with the 24" clamps. In building my clamp cache I've bought these clamps when I catch them for a good price so I didn't necessarily use them when I got them, just threw them on the clamp rack until I needed them. At some point I discovered one of my 24" did not work properly because it would not produce clamping pressure. I discovered this during a glue up so I just grabbed another one and proceeded. Then forgot about it, and it just sat on the rack. By the time I thought about it again several months had passed. Knowing it was too late for a return I went to Bora's website to see if there were any diagrams or parts available so I could repair or rebuild it (pandemic spare time activity). Didn't see any so I got on a chat with their customer service and explained what I was looking for. They said I should probably send it back to Amazon but I told them it was too late for that, and any warranty was out as well. They were really nice about it expressed remorse and sent me a replacement. All I wanted was instructions or parts and they sent me an entire replacement clamp. Now these are the only parallel clamps I buy, but I do check them as soon as I get them.

Purchased during early prime sale
Can Never Have Enough Clamps! I'm always looking for more clamps and parallel clamps have a ton of very beneficial uses. I use them for gluing upper and lower cabinet boxes, all the way down to gluing up cutting boards and small wood art.Caught them on Early Prime Sale for $46 off per set and snagged up 5 more sets to add to my collection. That sale was the difference between buying 3 sets vs. 5 sets.Always keep a look-out for sales on clamps. Disclaimer: this is the only brand of parallel clamps I use and that isn't because I've used others and though less of them. I can compare all other major brands of bar clamps, pipe clamps, f-style clamps, and more...but not with parallel clamps.

Great parallel clamps
Bought the 50" clamps along with the 31" clamps and they are great. The bar is strong enough to be able to give enough pressure without flexing. Highly recommend them.
