Beautiful doll, beautiful dress. But she is not something to playwith. All you can really do is stare at her through the transparent plastic box. With her arms posed as she is, she isnothing but a statue. If her arms could bend and stretch, thenshe would have been fun to play with. But both her arms stay onher hips, and there is not much you can do with arms like that.I wish Mattel would make a Marilyn Monroe doll with elbows andknees that could bend and stretch, like the Fashionistas dollsthey make. Those dolls are truly posable. Not a statue like thisMarilyn doll is. I am disappointed with this. But kept it for thememory.

This doll is gorgeous. I bought it for my Best Friend as a gift. She adores Marilyn and she will love this! It is beautiful and made so well. The details are great, the gown is so pretty. I think that if you are a fan or a collector, she is a must have! Worth every penny!

The item came damaged
The Barbie's nose has a small divot out of it. The lower lip had a larger divot out of it. There is a small line trailing out of the Barbie's mouth and it's not clear whether it's glue or a scratch. It is obvious that the Barbie was shipped in this condition and did not receive damage due to shipping. However, the plastic packaging was cracked. This item is no where near being able to be used for a collector. The seller should have fully disclosed what condition the item was in. I would like to be contacted by the seller.
