Q: Are the effects global or can I set individual channels to have effects or not? Thanks in advance.

You have a knob to control the effect on each channel. So if you only want reverb on the voice channel for example you just leave the effect knob on 0 on all the channels where you don't want it. I don,t think there is a way to have more than one effect active at a time. (but you can have the same effect on various channels but different levels.) It's pretty intuitive when you get your hands on it. And the reverb sounds great to me btw. Im using it live 2-5 times a month.

Q: How does this mixer compare to allen and heath zed 10fx in term of effect processor ?

xNot sure about the Allen And Heath board but a also have a Yamaha MG12XU, and the Soundcraft smokes it!!!

Q: Does it have 220V wiring electricity ?

In looking at the power cord jack, it says, "90-240v input" but I don't see a switch that lets you select 120 or 240vac ?

Q: Does this mixer has the live sound ?

Can you refrase your question??This a very nice mixer, it has 8 very good pre-amps, 2 more stereo inputs, it has insert points on inputs and outputs. This guy have Lexicon effects processor if you need it, if you don't need it you can save few bucks and get the EPM 8.If you need any further info you let me know
