Advanced Technology International Ruger Mini-14 Bottom Rail, 6-Inch

I received this item yesterday and only learned by reading the assembly instructions that it is not intended for mounting on a factory Ruger stock. The Amazon ad should make that clear. It might be a good product, but it was useless to me.

Bought this for the Strikeforce stock so that an AFG could be mounted. While I do like this rail & it's sturdiness cannot be questioned it is on the heavy side.

Fitment was so-so. Seems to work, but it could fit the rifle better, as the installation was a bit difficult. Had to be slightly modified.

If you own a Ruger Mini -14 with the tactical stock you need this Picatinney Rail. The original stock comes with a 3 inch rail mount that is fine if you don't want to mount a Tri-pod and a vertical forward grip but if you do you will need this extended rail. The rail fits perfectly on the original mounting area and fits the contour of the stock perfectly. The installation is quite easy and only requires the drilling of two holes. I recommend this inexpensive addition to your Mini.

Over priced

Nice replacement . ATI should have used this instead of the small bottom rail. Its made for Mini-14 with ATI tactical stock, gives more length for bipod and for grip. Some disassembly required to install, but fairly simple.

Not a fit for my mini 14, but got a refund.

Fast shipping, good packaging. I put this bottom rail on an ATI stock for my Mini 30. Really happy with it. Easy to mount. Billet aluminum. Good strong stable base for bipod, vertical grip, etc.
