Makes the car cassette player relevant again!
I recently purchased an older (2000) Corvette convertible. It is old enough to have an in-dash cassette player, but no aux connection to the radio. The previous owner suggested a cassette adapter, and I decided to try this brand after reading several reviews of it and a few competitors. It works well, and I plug the 3.5 mm end into an adapter allowing me to connect my iPhone through the lightning port. Very easy to use, and now I can listen to Spotify or my iTunes playlists. Sound quality seems fine, though I can't really tell, as I try to drive with the convertible top down as much as I can. In summary, am very pleased so far with the product. Next task is to find a good phone mount for the car!

Amazing sound quality, one of the best ones I've used!
If you're like me and have an older car that doesn't have an aux port, then this thing is a life saver. I've used another model in the past (can't remember the name) and I can also see that the ones on amazon don't do too hot so this one feels like an oasis in the midst of lackluster products. It goes in just like a regular cassete, not really more to it. In terms of sound quality it's actually pretty nice! It's very clear with very little interference. One downside is that the cord is pretty long. I'm sure they do this because they want to ensure that a phone could be used from any seat in a car, but it would be nice if they provided different lengths.

Horrible purchase(s)
After 10+ years of great performance, my RCA cassette adapter lost the ability to transmit the right channel sound. After doing some research, I bought the Gezan adapter. The sound was very loud, and unbelievably bad, especially in the mid range and treble on all speakers - right and left, front and back. Imagine playing an album after a clutter of felines had a cat fight on the surface. I tried all speakers through my regular radio and the satellite radio, and all sounded fine. In addition, the left speakers, front and back, still sounded fine using the old RCA adapter. Thinking maybe I just got a defective one, I immediately returned the Gezan product and ordered another. It arrived yesterday, and I tested it out. This time it sounded as if only one cat had danced on the album surface. The bass range was reasonably good, but the treble and especially mid range sounds were simply bad (scratchy, and as if a speaker had blown). I again checked the speakers using the satellite radio, and all were fine. I rechecked the left speakers with the RCA cassette, and they were still fine. I don't know what to say other than that this was the worst purchase -- by a wide margin -- of all I've made through Amazon, and I've made a lot. I'll be returning this second cassette as well and looking to buy another brand. If I could give the product zero or negative stars, I would.

It works swell!
4 stars = above expectationsAlright, your going to think I'm nuts, but I actually ordered this for an old home stereo and it worked!Clearly, I'm no audiophile (but, let's be honest, this is not a product for music snobs). We have a more modern set-up in the entertainment room and my old stereo in the living room. I had no strong interest in spending the money to replace it but I was getting a bit bored with my old CDs and cassettes. I thought, "what could it hurt to try a car stereo converter?". I had to pop out the clear bit of the cassette tape door so I could run the wire through uncrimped, but it's not as if my stereo has increased in value after 10-15 years. Plugged it into my phone, and the dang thing worked!I'm pleased. Now I can listen to new music when I'm doing dishes or other chores outside of our entertainment room! Sweet!

Excellent Sound Quality
This works perfectly in my '05 LS430 cassette player and the sound quality using my iPhone with a dongle adaptor is really great. Beats the cost and risk of having someone open the dash to wire a connection to my Mark Levinson stereo. If you have an older car and don't want invasive work done or don't want to throw the money at it, this is an excellent option in my opinion. It's too soon to comment on durability but, given the minimal cost, it's not that big a deal. If I get a year of use out of it I'll be more than willing to replace it with the same thing from the same seller.

Good seller, not so great product
I use this to enable myself to listen to music, podcasts and e-audiobooks on my phone while driving. It plugs into my cassette player in my car. My car is from 2006 and it didn't come with an aux port, so this is a lifesaver. I bought it to replace one I bought in Walmart five years ago which now makes a ch-ch, ch-ch sound. The first one I bought didn't work at all. I wanted to return this but I got a replacement with no charge (Thank you Gezan). This one works but it sounds muffled. Even though this product itself is not great, Gezan is a great seller in terms of responsiveness.

It actually works!
Unfortunately I have to buy stupid cassette adapters too often. The last two died shortly after purchase due to a short in the wire connecting my phone to the cassette. This cassette is great compared to the other more expensive ones. The wire feels pretty sturdy unlike the ones I bought before. It will take effort for this to short out. The volume on this adapter is good but the sound quality is a little bit muffled. Higher on the bass but lower on the treble. Let’s be honest though, you probably aren’t an audiophile if you are looking for one of these. This one works and will take some effort to break. Worth the $6.

Miles ahead of the competition
I bought one of these at walmart and it broke within the week. I bought another cheap one from amazon and it also broke soon after I bought it. It was then that I decided these things were garbage that didnt work well at all. I velcroed a bluetooth speaker to my dash and it was that way for over a year. Until I got sick of not being able to listen to my music very loud. I finally decided I would buy the highest rated auxiliary cassette that I could find on amazon no matter the cost. This thing is a dream. I love it, im so glad that I can finally use my car speakers again.
