Physicians Formula Aqua Wear Waterproof Mascara - Black-Brown - 0.25 oz

I have extremely sensitive eyes, and because of this have always struggled to find a mascara that didn't irritate me. I tried multiple brands, but they always made my eyes itchy. Then I tried the Physicians Formula Organic Wear mascara and was pleasantly surprised. It didn't irritate my eyes at all, but unfortunately didn't come with a waterproof version. My eyes always tend to water periodically throughout the day, so any eye makeup I wear has to be waterproof--- otherwise I end up looking like some sort of raccoon. I looked online to see if Physicians Formula made any sort of waterproof mascara and found this one. I looked in a couple different stores, but sadly figured out that you had to order it online. So I ordered it from Amazon, and got it in 2 days (amazing shipping!) and tried it right away. I immediately noticed that the mascara actually smells like rubbing alcohol. I found this kind of odd, but was so happy to discover that my eyes were tolerating it really well after I put it on. I then tried it the next morning and it lasted the entire day, even with my sensitive, watery eyes... absolutely no dark shadows or anything like that appeared. Then when I went to take it off that night, it was actually a little bit hard to rub off, but came off in a few seconds. This is by far the BEST MASCARA I HAVE EVER HAD. My one and only complaint is that you have to order it online, but that's not too bad. Try this mascara- you will not regret it.

i bought this as a less expensive alternative to for the excellent, but $30, trish mcelvoy mascara i bought earlier this year. due to the great reviews i read. mascara is mascara, it goes on nicely indeed, but by day end i am once again reduce to racoon eyes. the $30 (way high for 2 months) is a perfect product. not sure i can keep it up. this was about $8 with shipping. i have things to consider.

This worked well for me. It is non-irritating to my allergy sensitive eyes, I discontinued using many of the OTC hypoallergenic brands as they were actually quite irritating and uncomfortable to wear. I gave 4 instead of 5 stars as I do occasionally need to reapply during the day. But I find that's typically true for most mascara's.

I have allergies and there are many things I cannot use. Most mascara is not useful because it runs if there is the least bit of liquid leaked from my eyes. This makeup holds well no matter what, does not irritate me and also it goes on better than most and doesn't coat anything but my eyelashes.. I hope you have it back in stock or available through you soon! My all time favorite!

I have used this for years. It stays on longer than most 'waterproof' mascaras with little smearing which can easily be wiped off. Works great for contact wearers.

I didn't realise this contained parabens until it arrived, otherwise I would not have bought it. I thought all Physicians Formula products didn't contain them - my mistake and not a misrepresentation my the seller. I have not used it and so it would be unfair for me to comment on coverage, irritation etc.

This is supposed to be smudge proof, but I end up with dark smudge under my eyes every time I wear. I would not recommend.

This product is ok. I was looking for something a little more smudge proof though. I'm not sure if I would purchase it again.
