I rarely write reviews but this one deserves it. I was looking for tweezers that would be able to remove tiny slivers as I am the go-to person in the family for first aid.While browsing Amazon, I saw these tweezers and how the ends were designed and realized their potential for precision. Now that I have received them, I realize that they are better than I thought. They are thinned in the spring area to make them easier to operate. Something important for arthritic hands. They are wide in the other direction for confirm, stiffness and to maintain the matchup on the tips.I didn’t have a sliver to try them on but I cut down an eyebrow hair short enough that my other tweezers couldn’t grab it. I then used these and they pulled the hair out as easy as if it were a full length hair. I am very impressed.Edit: I got to try them on a thistle thorn my wife had in her finger. It got it out with minimal disruption to the skin.P.S. It is best paired with a10x magnifier.

Not cheap but worth the little extra money to have tweezers that are well made and do what they are supposed to do
