1 HP Submersible Pump 110V/60Hz Clean / Dirty Submersible Water Sump Pump Flood Drain Garden Pond Swimming Pool Pump (1 HP_Blue)

Had to empty half of the water out of my 13,000 gal inground pool. Was easy to setup & it worked great. Had the pool done in 3 hours.

Used to drain clean ground water from my yard. The elbow broke almost right away and I replaced it with galvanized steel. It blew out the O-ring on the bottom so I took it apart and glued it back together. The plastic is very soft and the screws strip out easily. Yes, it worked and did the job. Make sure you have plenty of room for the float to work and it will not get hung up in the on or off position. There is a time delay so don't panic if it does not start or stop right away.

The pump worked fine for me after a modification I didn’t expect I would have to do. The online picture showed the pump came with an adapter that included two different sized barbed nipples and a male threaded area presumably for connecting a garden hose as most users would be included to do for their application. I even called tech support prior to purchase to confirm whether the threaded area was indeed for a standard size garden hose connection and was told that was so. Well, turns out that’s not the case, so it was off to Home Depot to rummage around their plumbing department until I found the combination of parts to build out a garden hose connection. This cost me a 20 mile round trip and well over an hour of time to get what I needed to do the job. This should not have been necessary considering that a majority of users would probably want to connect the pump to a garden hose for multiple general purpose uses. And the company needs to apply a little QC to the qualifications of their tech support personnel. Other than that, the pump worked fine at a very reasonable price for my need. I used it to recirculate a stop-leak compound through an under ground return pipe to my in-ground pool. I will likely put this pump to temporary use for multiple reasons in the future, so it will be nice to have on hand now that I have it rigged up for a garden hose connection

Amazing! I have an 11000 gallon in ground pool and the cyraunic acid got out of control. I need to drain at least 1/3 of the water to get it under control. The unit was easy to put together and has only been running for an hour but... already the top step is exposed. The water level has dropped at least 8 inches already! Very pleased with this! AMD the only sound I hear is water rushing out the hose!

This pump did not work for draining our waterfall holding tank. It is not meant for dirty water and did not have hose attachments. I will return.

Make sure the hose is on right, (user error will get you drenched lol.) But it works great!

In addition the bottom was falling off when I took it out of the box. Probably ok for pumping water across flat ground.
