Good replacement for a Windows 10 system.
I purchased this for an ageing Intel Core 2 system that has faulty onboard LAN controllers.Installation was simple, after fitting it into a spare 'full height' PCIe x16 slot and powering up, Windows 10 recognized the new controller and installed an upto date WHQL driver for it (a later version than the one supplied on the driver disk). So far its working as per spec with no problems.

Very reliable connection - Extremely Fast - driver installation could have been easier
After having purchased a number of other Aquantia based 10GB network cards (TP Link, Asus, Gigabyte and a couple of other generic ones) and having returned them all after extensive testing found that they couldn't maintain a fast transfer rate during large (100gb plus) transfers I didn't really have high hopes for this card, but thought I had nothing to lose as I could send it back.Suffice to say I was presently surprised and I will be keeping this card. Data transfers are pretty close to the advertised 10GB (there is always some overhead) and there is no noticeable drop off in transfer rate after the first 5-10 minutes.Driver installation requires a download (no disk included) and must be installed via device manager (no easy clickable executable), which is a bit of a pain, but these are small niggles.

removed size of pc panel fitted fairly easily. you just have to make sure you have right connector in your PC motherboard

Small but functional PCIe
When limited for PCIe slots on the Mother board this can solve the problem and it works perfectly, great price too

Great card for an HP Proliant Microserver
This is one of the few cards that clearly shows that it comes with a half-height option. I popped it into my HP Proliant Microserver and powered up. Debian Linux recognised it immediately and all is well. On a 100Mb/s network the card doesn't seem any slower that the NIC on the motherboard.

If you want to span the ports, don't bother with this card.
Software supplied did not do spanning. Had to download from realtek. That software promptly crashedwhen attempting to span and now only one port shows up which is non-functional. Not a happy customer.

Do not work without drivers.
Purchased two of these and fitted one Ito a dual boot Win10 /Linux Mint machine, and the other into an Unraid server. Powered up both machines, no connection at all. Tried two different switches, both multi gig capable, nothing doing. Both cards sit there without so much as a flashing light. Swapped out both cards and fitted 2.5GB cards and bingo! So, without installing drivers from the supplied CD, these cards are not supported by Win10. Worse still, there are no drivers on this supplied CD for Linux, rendering them useless for both my dual boot PC and my server. I don’t know what chipset this card is using, but the Realtek chips on the 2.5GB NICs worked out of the box and were recognised immediately by Win10 and Linux.Just for info, of the two cheaper 2.5GB cards that would work, one of those kept dropping back to 1GB, and that was confirmed in two different PC's and with two different switches.I have since purchased two 10GB NIC's using Intel chipsets and they fire up and negotiate a 10GB link in seconds.I am not at all convinced by this new standard, maybe when the big boys like intel get involved.....

worked well
I put this in an HP slimline case using the half height mounting plate. Windows 7 detected it and installed the drivers without a problem.
