Really love this book

Does a great job of explaining the4 basics of geometry

This book was used in our homeschool history curriculum and the following review is from our 11 year old son:This book is a fictional book about Euclid teaching his friends about Geometry. His friends had funny comments on his teachings, while also learning about Geometry. There are also funny cartoons and pictures.The best part of the book was the funny comments the friends made to Euclid as he taught. It made Geometry fun!I give this book a 5 star rating and I think it would be good to read if you are studying math, Geometry, and history.

I have been reading this book during our math hour. My son really enjoys it, probably because it's less math problems to workout. It has even helped refresh myind as an adult.

Fantastic book about geometry and how it began. I purchased this book for our gifted five and six year old children, and they love it. They have even named toys Euclid.

Great book. My son lives reading the book and watching the videos.

I decided not to purchase this book due to the title. Euclid did not invent Geometry. Euclid is an author who took the ideas and inventions of others and combined them all into a series a books in which he attempted to prove the existing ideas.The title led me to believe this book may contain factual or misleading information. Further, Euclid was greatly criticized because his assumptions were far too liberal. His whole system was based on assumptions that were not accurate.Later, other mathematicians like Hilbert and Riemann challenged Euclid’s assumptions and proved them to be incorrect! This lead to the discovery of new branches of geometry.So all in all, Euclid did not invent geometry so I couldn’t go through with purchasing the book.
