RXBAR, Protein Bar, Coconut Chocolate, Gluten Free, 12-Pack, Made in the UK

first off, the quick simple review - to me these are the best-tasting protein bars I've ever eaten.they taste great - I'm surprised at the amount of 'this-has-a-funny-texture' reviews - to me its satisfyingly chewy - like a toffee in some respectsI think it would be fair to say I'd tried a lot/most of the protein bars on the market - the majority tend to suffer from one of two central disadvantages - 1] weird sweetener taste from the sugar-sub in the recipe 2] extremely dry/sawdust-like consistency - the RX bar has no trace of either of these across the flavors I have tried [coconut/peanut butter/chocolate & sea salt/blueberry] - the other massive point in these bars' favor is they are properly SUBSTANTIAL - for me a great comparison on this point would be the Special K protein bar - these taste great - but four bites and they're gone - this doesn't apply to the RX bars - they're genuinely filling and satisfy those mid-PM cravings.to me the closest I would describe in terms of texture/flavor would be the PRIMAL Pantry bars - e.g. the coconut/macadamia bar which I love also - but the coconut/chocolate RX bar being like this on steroids.they're not inexpensive that's for sure - but still less than a flat white [this reminds me that in my opinion the perfect item to 'twin' with these is a decent black coffee]so - in short - awesomes

I am new to protein bars. I bought these after researching online. I needed a high protein diet for recovery after surgery and picked these as they had ingredients I understood. I know the flavour has salt in the title BUT WOW oh my god it’s covered in salt! Maybe 150 granules on each bar!! I routinely scrape the salt off these bars and then I enjoy them. I felt something of a primaDonna asking my friend to ‘please scrape the salt off my protein bar’ when I was poorly 😂🙈 picture attached

I really enjoyed these protein bars. The ingredients are as simple as advertised and I felt the price was in line with other protein bars available on Amazon.Each bar was a good representation of its flavour, and whilst some may find the chewy texture a bit weird, I actually liked it. It made me eat the bar slowly and savour the flavour and texture and on top of that, I felt very satisfied after eating it.Below are all the flavours in order of preference:1. Coconut Chocolate (4/5)2. Peanut Butter Chocolate (4/5)3. Chocolate Sea Salt (3.5/5)4. Peanut Butter (3.5/5)5. Blueberry (3.5/5)

I am so happy to still be able to buy these now that it isn't possible to buy from RXBar direct. These are quite pricey (~£20 for 12) but absolutely worth it. I love my Nakd bars, but these are a step above in terms of flavour and stopping the mid-morning or mid-afternoon hunger pangs, and I'm happy to pay the extra compared to Nakd to get these. These will be increasingly difficult to buy over the coming months, and it is a real shame that it isn't possible to buy these direct in the UK anymore. I don't actually know why RXBar is pulling out of the UK, but it is a real shame.This variety pack is great and will give you chance to try different flavours.

I sought out RX Bars online after my local M&S and Sainsburys stopped stocking them. They are so delicious, and one of the few health bars that doesn't contain a load of chemicals and hidden sugars. I love that the ingredients are clearly labeled on the front of the packet; you know exactly what's in each bar, they're a great source of protein and contain all-natural ingredients with no refined sugars. All of the flavours are amazing but the vanilla almond is the best, in my opinion. The best protein bar on the market bar none!

actual taste is yummy with a deep delicious chocolate flavourtoo much salt on top overpoweringunfortunately like all other bars i have tried texture is so so chewy and gets stuck on the roof of my mouth as well as in my teeth (very annoying)Texture is also very greasy - but gorgeous rich dark choco flavour hence 4 stars

I had high hopes for these bars as I was searching for a bar which didn't have lots of unnatural flavourings or words that I've never seen before.The taste isn't bad, though I can't taste chocolate, just the salt. It's more the texture which just isn't for me. Took me about 10 minutes to chomp my way through a small bar and have the feeling I'll be picking it out my teeth for the next couple of days..If you like REALLY chewy bars then I woud reccomend this product.

I've tried many, many different types of these protein bars, with varying degrees of success; some have a distinctly 'chemical' taste, while others are so dry as to be difficult to eat, to name but a few of the issues I've come across. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the RX bars - they are tasty, easy to munch on, and don't have that horribly artificial feel about them. Will definitely be getting more, and trying some of the other flavours - very impressed!
