Great Boots
These really are amazing Boots and they look cool too. I get away with a 7 in some wide fitting but I went for an 8 in these and they fit like a dream. Room for my feet to move and very light so they are a joy after wearing Hunters Wellies on my Dog walks for so many years. Light waterproof footwear is a must at this stage in my life and I have been searching for the right pair for a long time and these are perfect.I wear insoles also as I suffer with flat feet so I was worried this would affect the fit but it didn't at all. I brought these after having my eye on them for a long time, and of course the Boots were willing me the whole time to buy them through my Screen, I just had to give in, we're in the midst of a pandemic, the Worlds gone crazy and walking my Pooch is the high light of my life in these times so comfort is a must and I do believe with footwear you get what you pay for ;)I've done the skipping through mud and puddles, lots of off-roading and some skid/slip tests because I'm really childish for a 47 year old, and they passed with flying colours. Also, living by the Sea and getting caught out because my Pooch can't be bothered to get his ball sometimes and purposely leaves it right down at the shore and barks at me until I retrieve it myself, I can confirm they are waterproof, well, unless it's a tidal wave, in that case they'll be doomed ;)

Read this for sizing info
I have been through the pain so I hope I can help. I wear a UK6 EU39 In normal shoes. On trainers I wear a UK 6.5. I ordered a 6.5 in these Sorel boots and they pinched my toes. The UK 7 is perfect with a boot sock. I have had lots of Sorel shoes and boots and they are definitely waterproof. Enjoy but pick the right size.

soles wore through
The good things were the boots are very lightweight and also waterproof - the only water that got in was through the eyelets. However, they don't have much grip for mountains etc. More bad things were that there was no support for your heels and arches so I bought inserts and glued them in. But the really bad thing was that the soles wore through within two years of purchase and that was just using them for weekend dog walks and 10,000 steps a day type walks around the neighbourhood. I was hoping they'd last longer for the price I paid!

Super practical.
Super practical. Had been trying to buy these for several yrs but always out of stock. Reviews everywhere always said to go up a size. I did & they were huge. So I went with the smaller size that I take (I can go from 5-6.5 dep on make) went with 5.5/38.5. And they were fine. So maybe theyre refining theyre sizing. Maybe Amazon have a different manufacturer?? But I wud say theyre true to size. I expected super comfort kind of like a Birkenstock, but theyre not. Theyre maybe a 8/10. But v v practical & I expect to wear them most days out dog walking thru the Dales. Much lighter & cooler than Hunters esp in the summer.

Go a size up
I didn’t pay attention to the reviews and followed the Amazon sizing advice. I’m a size 3 usually without fail and my toes were jammed at the end. Now waiting for my larger size to arrive.

Waterproof
Good boot, but for me, small fitting, especially at the toe end. I find them not deep enough. Ordered my usual 7 but needed an 8 instead. The 8 are still a bit tight due to the depth at the toe end.

Personally, I go up half a size in Sorel boots.
Immediately comfortable. I take size 5 in most other shoes but I know that I need 5.5 in Sorel boots. Worn in the rain and rock pooling and definitely waterproof.
