I’ve been using Nikwax TECH WASH for my waterproof jackets, hiking gear, and outdoor clothing, and it does an amazing job at cleaning while maintaining the waterproof properties. Unlike regular detergents, which can break down waterproof coatings, this gently cleans while reviving the fabric’s breathability and water repellency. It’s easy to use—just add it to the washing machine like a normal detergent or hand wash for smaller items. I’ve noticed that after washing, water beads up on my gear again, showing that it really does help restore the waterproof layer. It also removes dirt and odors effectively without damaging the fabric. Disappointed- I washed a lightweight coat expecting g it to be at least shower proof but after about ten minutes In a light downpour, I felt the rain around the shoulders coming through

Very good quality product

Great as a washing machine cleaner for my Gore-Tex Berghaus jacket. Instructions are clear and simple. Didn't effect the washing machine, cleaned all of the stains from my light coloured jacket, and applied a further Nikwax product after washing for added protection. 4 stars for price; cheaper elsewhere, this was my own fault and should have checked before buying.

J’ai utilisé ce produit pour nettoyer en machine une veste de moto goretex… Elle était particulièrement sale et le résultat est bluffant ! Elle est ressortie impeccable, comme neuve … La Qualité du goretex n’est pas altérée..bien que le séchage ce soit fait au plein air alors que celui en sèche linge était préconisé Certes c’est cher mais je suis satisfaite du résultat !
