I wanted a stainless steel pan but this one was as good as I could find

The concept is a good one and it works well. The pan is a good size, perfect for cooking pasta. The only negative is the lid is quite thin and flimsy, and needs a jiggle to sit properly. Once on it is fine.

Leggendo un paio di recensioni ero dubbiosa sul riuscire a tenere chiuso il coperchio mentre scolavo la pasta, senza bruciarmi le dita, ma in passato avevo preso un altro modello e mi ero trovata bene, così ci ho riprovato. La pentola mi è stata consegnata direttamente con la sua confezione originale, senza scatola o copertura Amazon ed un adesivo della spedizione incollato sopra ad un buco del cartone, mi aspettavo danni ed ho controllato bene il contenuto, che era in perfette condizioni. Ho seguito le istruzioni per il primo utilizzo ed utilizzato la pentola per qualche giorno per fare una pasta secca, degli gnocchi freschi e delle tagliatelle fresche, devo dire che per non rompere gli gnocchi freschi è meglio usare uno scolapasta, ma per tutto il resto, tutto bene. Non è necessario utilizzare le presine per tenere chiuso il coperchio e scolare la pasta (ovviamente faccio attenzione a far rimanere la fiamma all'interno del bordo della pentola, ma questo lo faccio anche con le altre pentole). La pentola ha un buon peso, diffonde bene il calore, quindi si può usare anche per preparare altro che non sia una pasta, il coperchio è leggero, ma fa il suo lavoro. In generale ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, sono soddisfatta.

We hebben deze kookpot twee keer uitgeprobeerd, ik dacht dat er een kliksysteem was voor de handvatten maar dat is niet zo. Je moet zelf het handvat tegenhouden, en hoewel wij sterk zijn viel het deksel elke keer naar beneden, en alle pasta eruit. Hij gaat terug. :-(
