Just like the larger 5 rifle version, this works just fine. Great value, the magnet holds just fine.

Works, but not all gun cabinets are metal. Needs pre-drilled holes for mounting to wood cabinets.

We bought two (2) of these, and used them to put five rifles in a sixteen (16) inch square cabinet. Three of the larger rifles in front center on a four (4) inch raised shelf, (I used one of the moveable shelves that came with the cabinet and cut 5 inches off of the rear of the shelf, then another one inch off of the of the 5 inch cut off to make it just 4 inches wide and used the 4 inch piece to hold up the front of the shelf, and the 1 inch strip I cut into (2) 4 inch long legs to hold up the back of the shelf). I used some oak 1 x 4 boards to hold the barrel foam 6 inches from the back of the cabinet and in the center 10 inches of the cabinet. The two rifles in the back leaned against the sides. Looks and works great.
