This is exactly like it looks in the picture and is a very good value for the money. Is the leather the best? Nope, but its pretty good and it fits the gun well (Italian copy of a Colt SA with 5-1/2 " barrel) For the money you can't go wrong and its a great holster to tote your SA Colt or clone around out in the field. I use mine when I'm wild pig hunting. Sometimes you need a handgun to finish off an animal or when tracking wounded boar in dense brush where a scoped rifle is pretty worthless. Works fine for that and has a hammer thong to keep the gun in place if you fall or go through dense brush.I gave it 4 stars instead of five because you can buy better holsters (for more money) but this one works great and is a 5 star value.

Besides ordering the wrong hand (left instead of right), this is so well made and awesome looking too. Its double stiched and has really thick leather. I ordered the correct hand and its perfect!

This is a beautiful holster.Well made. Heavy leather. Made in Mexico and they have been doing some of the finiest leather work for years. Bought this for my colt old army 45 sold through Amazon .

Contrary to other reviews, this holster does not fit 22 caliber revolvers properly. This holster is sized for the larger caliber revolvers with larger frames and cylinders. It is a decent quality holster for the money. Be aware - this supplier charges a 20% restocking fee and freight fees on any return - an expensive penalty for the wrong order.

Fits a Heritage Arms 6.5" Rough Rider single action perfectly. Some people posted they wanted a snap to hold the gun in place, I thought that's what the trigger strap was for. Maybe people missed it.

It did not fit my Pietta 1851 western marshall very well (a colt clone) it was to large around the cylinder,but fit my western marshall 44 mag. well.For the quality was good for the cost,you can,t get a holster kit for what this holster cost.The best price that can be found for a good leather holester.

great quality for the money

I use this to hang my revolver decoratively, however with how sturdy and well made it is I’m sure it would hold up to years of abuse. Great quality especially for the price.
